I have used this as a jerkbait & not too long ago I had the black & gold 100mm. I fished it jerkbait style low tide in murky water in an estuary/channel that connects the river to the flats that lead into the gulf. I hooked a 25lb alligator gar. It was quite a shock but the lure held up! Definitely recommend!
Rad Reeling, I watched one of your older videos last week and you turned me onto this lure. I caught several fish on this bait last weekend at Mosquito Lagoon. Thanks for what you do. Also, I just bought an Old Town 120 auto-pilot kayak and love this thing. Spot lock makes this a game changer.
Great review. One thing I really don't like is treble hooks. I am a big believer in replacing them on all my hard baits with inlines. Safer for you and better for catch and release. And the replacement inlines are so much stronger
Hello Rad, that is still one of my fishing dreams, catching snook from the beach, glad you are living it, but when I do go out there one day I will remember to buy that bad boy lure👍
I saw one today in Walmart. It looks so good. I wonder it would work on South Florida peacocks and largemouth. What do you think maybe cichlids what do you think about the rebel Minnow ? Saw it too! Because I know Rapala X rap is with the use to use here.
I haven’t had any luck with the yozures. I like them a lot. I want to catch something on them. But I don’t know if the fish on the East Coast like them. Or I’m not using them right. Although Walmart here sells them. I do love the way they are made and look. I’m going to be taking the kayak out and I will definitely be trying them. I haven’t seen snooke here. I seen one and he was a great size. I think he was lost 😂😂😂
I fished with the 2 and 3/4" for the first time last weekend in mosquito lagoon and tore it up. Caught a snook and some trout. I even tried this lure in my backyard pond and caught 2 bass within 10 minutes.
Yo zuri in my opinion are the best saltwater hard baits on the market. I throw their crystal 3-D shrimp and snook tear that thing up. I try all the other brands, soft and hard baits and they don’t work like these do.

Those auto pilot yaks are absolutely insane.
yea thats my favorite saltwater lure, and its also a great bass lure.
Probably the best lure ever made by yozuri. I always have them with me for snook fishing. Now they make it for saltwater called Fingerling
Great review J.C.Find them in the bargain box at Wally World every now and again, spot on about the hooks i just switch mine out to Inline.

Awesome tackle dude
One of my favorite lures. Works equally great in fresh and saltwater. 👍

Great lure. I looked at my purchase history on Amazon and last time was lucky to get one for 6.74. Just under a year ago.
I think your video is driving the price of this particular lure up !! :)

I use this one here in Bermuda. We've caught nearly all predatory species on it. Its a banger ffor sure
great video
As of today 6/29/23 bass pro has the saltwater model on special for 5.99

Do you use the factory hooks on the Yo-Zuri 3DS Minnow Suspending Shallow Diving Crankbait 4"?
When I'm fishing specifically for a larger fish like Snook I do switch out the hooks on the smaller one. Thanks for watching.
Caught so many stripers on that exact lure...that's the ayu...
Idk what I’m doing wrong. I’m a bit north of you and try lures and have never caught a fish on any artificial lure.

Never heard of the 3-d shrimp, looks crazy im gonna have to try that
Great video Rad! Let me know if your ever over on the nature coast. I'd love to film some fishing together and show you around our waters
Not as good a the Xrap .
Switch hooks to 1/0 or 2/0 inline single hooks.
Better hookup and better for catch and release
Always use pliers for treble hooks 🪝 my advice I learned the hard way
