Ok, first off.... I recorded and edited this under the effects of a heavy cold that I picked up on vacation. I'm so sorry (Canadian) If I rambled a little on this one.
Ok... So thinking of buying this, but i want the same as you Main light much more variable, right down to a dull soft low lumen... And maybe 40cm plus size Round or rectangle, don't mind With similar features, settings and app Is there such a light ?
Thanks for the review I'm kind of on the fence on it is this smart home compatible Google Alexa but can you control like the brightness up \ down and the color with a smart assistant . I saw a post once that it didn't do those functions just on and off or maybe it's been updated since
ohhhh. great review for a new product! definitely gonna look onto this Smart Ceiling light. Also, I noticed you do have 3 TVs right there, I don't know if you have them but a govee tv backlight for those will be a game changer. I just ordered mine from last week's prime day and it's the 2nd straight night I am enjoying the "new" experience of immersion using the backlights! Maybe you can try them as well? (if you don't have it yet). Again, great video Sir! More power!!!
@@asmarterhomecanada That is so cool! i went with the govee 3 Lite and it really is a great alternative for the Philips Hue system. I just came back to our town after a wildfire and now starting anew to a new house, only 1 ceiling light covers the kitchen and the living (common area), this Govee smart ceiling light would be perfect
I just ordered two of these myself but I haven't gotten them yet. I'm a little concerned about the installation cuz I think I'm going to run into the same problem you did. I'm assuming I can drill into the drywall and use anchors to support it. Is that what you ended up doing or was there some other thing cuz I didn't the install part was not filmed and short you know it's from a distance so I couldn't really tell too much. And I know you said you had some issues but I wasn't quite understanding so if you don't mind a little clarity I would greatly appreciate it. Great review by the way it has me a little worried about buying two of them now fortunately I didn't buy the full five like I was thinking hahaha
What? Ya think I got Hue money? Lol. But You're probably right, for a $79can light fixture I should have expected some corners cut to get the price low.

For brightness and colour change, voice smart assistants work fine. Screen changes however do not.
@asmarterhomecanada thanks for the reply i just ordered mine its $45 on sale
@Peter12029 Nice!

2 of them have the back lights on them, I'm waiting for the next version of the backlight to get all 3 lit.

amazing video! would you say it can light up an entire room?
Yes, absolutely
Hello! Does it work with a normal interuptor?
Can u turn the top lights on without having to have the main light on ?
Yes you can.
Does the H60A1 ceiling lamp now support lan api? (for local control) can you please check this in the app? That would be very helpful.
Not that I can tell. Can anyone give a definitive answer on this?
It does.. it is VERY chatty and has a big state attribute packet so it bombed my short term recorder (sqlite) until I ignored them
Thanks for the input!
Thanks!
I think Philips hue has one like that but better built
