Paddy's one of the few people I've seen Aaron smile at. All it takes is a glance and he's grinning away. I think Paddy's like a ray of sunshine to him.
This episode was great. So many great scenes and quotes. Kitty McGeever had such great comedic timing. "If he starts up again, you can't turn him away...I'll do it." "You're too nice love, that's your problem. You let people take advantage. Now stop, and buy me a drink." The Shadrach scene was brilliant. He's just chilling on the couch, watching tv with dirty feet, eating a sandwich, holding a stuffed animal, hanging out with two dogs around him. I literally laughed out loud when he said "No." at 5:49. It's sort of funny. He doesn't do anything to help Aaron, but he clearly listened to everything Aaron said since he quoted it back at Paddy. The whole, "I don't want you to go" "Well I don't wanna go," exchange is actually one of the sweetest things that's been said in this storyline so far. Aaron just wanted to belong somewhere. And Paddy is one of the few people that gave Aaron what he really needed at that time in his life. I started watching Aaron's storyline live when I was younger (the same age as Aaron was, actually) and stopped because I got frustrated. Now that I'm older, I think a lot of that frustration was due to how alike Aaron and I were as teens. I'm glad I can watch these episodes with a new set of eyes, and it really helped me gain sympathy for my younger self. Anyways, I don't think anyone wants to hear my life story, but I'm so grateful these clips are still up, so thank you kimbaforevaryanlamb for all the work you did. It's still appreciated eight and a half years later.

No wonder Hazel said the dingles were bad for Aaron. Chas goes off and leaves him again. Shadrach didn't care he moved out. Great mother and grandfather. Paddy should be his dad. He had more concern than them except Lisa and Zak. Poor Aaron. Paddy loves him so much. He didn't want to kick him out at all. Chas is ungrateful. She doesn't know whats good for her. Can't put her son first. Served her right Carl cheated on her when she cheated on paddy
Aaron said Jackson and paddy meant the most to him because they put him first and never gave up on him and even chas didn't. Even here paddy does xate but chas hurt him
