played with an epiphone sg g-400 deluxe through a fender champion 100 and a pedalboard beheringer pb1000 with: a boss ch-1, a boss cs-3, two boss dd-7 (one of them controled by a boss fs-5u), a boss fdr-1, a boss fv500h, a boss ph-3, a boss pw-10, a boss sd-1, a boss tr-2, a boss tu-3, an electro-harmonix big muff pi with tone wicker and a proco rat 2.
oh jordi, that's the best fucking cover i have seen for this song and in general. i have been trying to cover it but i am having a hard time figuring some stuff out. i would really appreciate it if you could help me out. i know this was a lot of years ago but if you could pickup your guitar and figure it out again and i will make sure to publish that to the mogwai community in case anyone wanted to cover this amazing song.
first thing i would love to know is the delay settings of the two dd7s. and delay type, time and feedback.
second thing is the chords and notes you played 8:24 because i can't get them out because it's as you new like an explosion. so i would love to know the chords for that and the little changes you made between these chords.
please try to help me out if you can and if you don't remember those stuff please try to experiment again and help us.

I guess you've seen the tabs for MFS on Ultimate Guitar tabs? Its just basically standard tuning and the following on repeat:

That seems to cover the melodic backbone of the song. Must be one of the easiest Mogwai tunes to play. Just add a quiet bit with a flute solo and tribal drumming for extra authenticity!
That's cool that you were able to put a chorus pedal to good use in a mogwai song seeing as how they said that's one of the pedals they could never find a place for. That and tape delays. Anyways, awesome job here man. Nice skills my brother.👍

Nice cover, what pedal is responsible for the wall of distortion climax bit? Any tips on achieving that sound? I'd love to recreate it myself, but not sure what pedals are essential! Thanks
i'm not sure wich moment are you talking about, but if it's the one on 8:24 i'm using only the rat and one dd-7; if you're talking about the one that starts at 1:50, i use a couple of dd-7, a chorus and a overdrive.
