Absolutely he did sir, and so does the entire choir 🤩😊🤩🤗🙏🏾. Thank you very much for your comment, please don’t forget to subscribe, like and share, it helps reach for audience who might be interested in the song as well 🙏🏾
They all tried and their voice quality was really nice, but why would they sing this Nigerian Yoruba traditional song without the percussion instruments? That's like singing Handel's Hallelujah chorus without the accompaniment of an organ or orchestra.
Thank you very much for your comment, really appreciate ☺️🙏🏾. Of course you are right and I totally agree with you. Instruments like Gangan, Shekere,Agbamole, Omele, Iya ilu, Agogo, Bata among others would have been a better accomplishment. But since the choir is a growing choir with limited budget and people that knows how to play this instruments, we could only make use of the ones we have. Speaking of Hallelujah Chorus, do you know we in fact sang it at this concert as well. th-cam.com/video/VrB05SixsJo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YmSxP60sw7cmhClD Also you can check out another Yoruba song from the choir th-cam.com/video/pcaKOVoY28w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hMfdBj8-ChAvWD4H Please, don’t forget to subscribe, like, share and comment your thoughts like this, it goes a long way 🤗🙏🏾
Embarrassment 😂? That’s very hilarious coming from you. Do you know none of the singers speak or understand Yoruba. Yet, they were able to sing like native speakers 🎉❤. Maybe some encouragement would have gone a long way.
A little encouragement should have been ok. Most of the singer's are not even Africans talles s of Nigeria, before you talks about Yoruba. This songs was rendered in my parish CKC Akowonjo Lagos on 22/9/24 by one of our choirs made up of 95% non-yoruba, and it came out better that this. Simply because they're nigerians and some of them are born and brought up in Lagos even though they're not mostly non-yoruba. I give thumbs up for this choir
Lovely
