    This video helps me stay focused because it’s under two minutes, I play it every day as a reminder. I do it anyway even if it doesn’t feel good. The things I hated now I love and the things I loved now I hate. ~Jim Rohn

    This is the one problem I have trying to day trade, I know technicals, I know price action, I know risk management... But now all I need is to put the ideas to the test and practice and repeat over and over, but I can't get over the fear of losing.

    Im actually joining for a computing competition but only the best students joined and i felt intimidated, i love programming but i wasnt confident in my maths. Later i found out the competition is actually helping students to be more capable and think creatively in programming, i want to improve too and i want to improve myself so i could have fun and be more interested not just to compete and compare myself with other people. Thank you for the message, it helped to motivate me join again maybe next time.

    It's naive. To fear not achieving what you want is exactly the same as fearing the failure. The question is how to have something else other than fear as the driving force.

    • @coachcicely908
      @coachcicely908 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to give yourself permission to feel the fear and do it anyway. Sometimes that involves getting more information on what it is you are afraid of. Or even being around others who love the thing you fear.
      I use to be terrified of dogs. But my dad loved them. One day I found myself between a rock and hard place. Cars were coming at me on one side of the road and our dog Jackie was running towards me from the other. She had gotten out of the fence. I didn't know what to do so I just sat down on the side walk and started crying. Next thing I knew she was licking me and my dad was raising her off. I was still afraid, but my dad had me pet her and said she was just making sure I was alright. Then when I came to see the truthfulness of it. I accepted her and other dogs. I was probably 9 when that happened and most of my life has been spent working with dogs. I'm 42 now. People who knew me back then still tell me " you use to me so scared of dogs, I can't believe it's the same you."
      So since I feared the traffic more than the dog, I had to feel the fear and do it anyway. And fortunately for me a dog lover was on the sceen.
      I think before that my dad didn't really realize how big my fear really was.

      What is your fear?🤔

    • @coachcicely908
      @coachcicely908 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      And you can also try things like subliminal affirmations, mindfulness, meditation, hypnosis. But you can't just do it one time, even if you get results from the first time. You have to condition your brain with them. Maybe try one daily for 21-30 days.😎
