Txs for reacting to Dimash. Know that Dimash beside mixing genres in songs alsp has songs in many genres.
And he is multy talented with almost every song something in it. Even after 50 songs you have not seen everything or know what he can do. Dimash is much more than only range but i must say in this song he did have NOT really high notes because he can sing much higher. But also much lower and longer.

I can`t explain how dope this reaction video was for me :) I left a comment a while ago, hoping you would do a reaction someday, and now when I saw your video pop up, I freaked out. You`re not a run of the mill "youtube reactor" like many others, you sound like an honest guy with nothing to lose or to pander to, and with a professional opinion, and I hoped so much that you will like what you hear with Dimash. So glad it turned out to be this song, since you liked it this much :) Dimash has songs in a bajillion styles, and this is the first time when he decided to compose such a blend. I don`t know if you would like his other style songs. But just for the voice analysis, maybe at some point you could check out his 'introduction song', "SOS". SOS 2021 is awesome, you can see the band rockin` out too :)
He can fully sing in ~4.5-5 octaves, and hit notes in 7 octaves. He can stay in soprano range for long phrases, and go up to F6 (he did a new version of 'Ave Maria' in full soprano), he can stay in baritone and go down to A1. Usually stays in tenor with lifts into soprano. But even in a 1.5-2 octave song, he uses so many textures and techniques, that it`s never boring, even if the genre is not necessarily someone`s favorite. Just the brain workout alone, listening to him, is delicious 😄
Thank you again for the video :)
Sorry for posting as a reply to your pinned comment, didn`t mean to spam you :)) Just had to express my relief and joy :)
P.S. I`ve been roaming through your spotify list for a couple of weeks now and I love it 😁👍

You have just discovered the most amazing voice to ever walk this planet. And this is not just a subjective statement. This is a fact. Get ready for a rollercoaster. Originally Dimash is from somewhere in space. No one knows where exactly he came from but we won't let him go back there. 😂 No one knows what he is, regardless of the fact that he looks like a human. I personally saw him twice and I still don't know if he is real. He sings like an angel, some people say he is an alien, but not long a go he appears as a vampire. 😁 After 6 years of listening Dimash I'm still figuring out the puzzle. He is perfect in all musical genres - pop, opera, rock, R&B, folk, rap and whatever else you can think of. He is a composer, plays 7 instruments, sings in more than 12 languages, and his range is the whole piano and more. And in every octave he sounds perfect. He is unique. Dimash is not equal to any other human being. He is the only one. God forgot to stop when he reached him. He gave him a lot, a lot, really a lot of everything. Most likely his computer crashed and he couldn't stop in time. 😄 Dimash is goddamn the best. His voice cuts the notes exactly like a laser. It's not possible to put him within the limits of human understanding of "the best singer". He passes any earthly boundaries and he simply launched directly into space. Even the best world music is too limited for him. He is huge. He is not on a global level. He is on a galactic level. Dimash is like fresh air. He launches us into another world, into another dimension with different sensations. His style is unique. He is pure, real music - alive, breathing music, not a cold, computer studio product. He doesn't even need a recording studio. It's enough to record his live performances on stage and it is already perfect enough. He graduated from the music conservatory with pop and opera singing. He will soon receive his Ph.D. He likes to mix styles and genres, so in one piece you can taste all aspects of his voice. On top of that he is just 29. Soon will turn 30. So, a very warm welcome to the madness called Dimash. 😂 Just don't forget to turn on the subtitles, because the lyrics to all his songs are extremely meaningful.

This song only shows only 0.1% of what Dimash can do. Dimash is an ICON, and there is no one comparable! He is classically trained, Has his Masters in Composition, and Doctorate in Musicology. Dimash is the most Humble, and Talented individual. He is a Philantropist, and advocate of PEACE! I hope you can continue reacting to Dimash. He will CONTINUE to BLOW you AWAY! ❤

Basically The stanard piano keyboard is his playground... Opera, Pop, R&B, Jazz, Kazakh folk... and any other he fells like. And just so you know, when Dimash walks in the front door, autotune sneeks out the back, with his pink slip in his pocket. Dimash has been professionally trained since the age of 5. He will be 30 in a couple of months. He has a Master's Degree in Composition, and is working on his PHD. Go to his TH-cam channel, and you will find an extensive catalogue of his performances, including several of his concerts. I highly recommed his New York concert, where he speaks mostly English. Nice to meet You..I'll be back for more Dimash.

Te sugiero escuchar SOS, Stranger, Olímpico, Sinfull passion, Across endless dimensions, Oceans over the time, El amor es como un sueño, Omir, y su obra maestra: Requiem: The story of one Sky

I'm surprised you hadn't done Dimash before. He really is fantastic. You should check out SOS, although its a very different song to this. Shows off more of his range and a bit more of the emotional side, but its definitely not as radio-friendly as this track. This is so different to Dimash's typical style, but he can pull any style off amazingly.

Dimash broke the internet in China when he sang his first song SOS. With 600 million hits on Weibo. Dimash is so much more than the greatest vocalist on the planet. He has sang in 14 languages . Languages that he doesn’t even speak. Yet is able to convey the message of the song to the audience which emotes tears. He plays 6 or 7 instruments. He is a humanitarian and much of his music is reflective of this. He was a on the show “ The Worlds Best” ( please do not watch these episodes as they treated Dimash with very little respect. He humbly asked to be removed from the show when he discovered that he would be competing against children. His culture does not compete against children but rather teaches, and nourish them. Ultimately walking away from the $1 million dollars he was pretty much guaranteed to win. In my 60 years on the planet I have never witnessed an artist with so much to offer. The greatest voice on the planet being only part of the package❤

Is Dimash the best singer alive?
The answer to this is very subjective. When you ask who the “best” singer is, what are you asking?
    the most skilled?
    the widest range?
    the best sounding?
Dimash Kudaibergen is a highly skilled vocalist with his voice spanning about 6 octaves, he has great versatility in his singing ranging from traditional, pop, opera, ballads, etc.
But the real answer is up to you!
    He is truly amazing!
His vocal range (and yes, this is his “sung range”) was analyzed by ab expert a few months ago (a voice teacher with absolute hearing), with the following result: His so far publicly shown “sung” vocal range spans from A1 to D8, that’s 7 octaves and 5 semitones (and thus, 1 semitine less than 7 octaves). But both his low and high notes have been very well-controlled so far, he hasn’t shown us the edges of his range yet (also his lower range will expand over time, he’s still very young)
He is famous for having an unusually wide vocal range and his ability to sing in more than fifteen languages. Dimash was born Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Kudaibergen in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan on the 24th of May, 1994.
When he was only five years old, Dimash began taking vocal and piano lessons at the children's section of the Akhmet Zhubanov Music College. He continued his training throughout his school years and eventually attended the music institute of K. Zhubanov University. He graduated in 2014 with a classical music degree centred on vocal ability. He continued his musical education by studying contemporary music Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana.
He successfully received a Master's degree in Composition and was even recommended for the PhD program.
In December 2014, he was awarded a laureate of the State Youth Prize Daryn.
He released his first album in China the same year, and it went platinum in thirty-seven seconds!
    Singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist
    Genres
Classical crossover pop folk classical world operatic pop
I cant say he is best singer in the world because answer will be subjective anyway that's question like which one is better Vincent van Gogh or Leonardo da Vinci but as amateur vocalist I can say technically he is best vocalist who is still living in the planet not just because of he has amazing range but he mastered at every register and technique especially his flagellate register(his soprano falsetto voice) also his whistle register better then any male singer then I ever heard and his mix register technique incredible and he mastered at belt canto technique at level of opera singers.

    • @FanTributes
      @FanTributes หลายเดือนก่อน +1

'flageolet' register :) that is the spelling, had no idea myself, I looked it up at some point. It`s above soprano, it translates to 'flute', it`s similar as mechanism to whistle, but as opposed to whistle, it`s still connected mechanism.
Soprano register is soprano register, soprano "head voice", for the 5th and 6th octave, and flageolet is for the upper part of the 6th octave, around E6, F6.

I came here to watch a reaction to Dimash but was pleasantly surprised to find your band's very exciting music as well. I will be investigating further! Although I have been passionately following Dimash for over seven years (because as a music obsessed individual I fully believe he is the greatest singer on the planet), this particular song does not impress me much in terms of his vocals and is not at all representative of his truly phenomenal talent. You might be surprised to learn that much of Dimash's music is epic in somewhat the same way that yours is. (Yes, Dimash can even do a metal scream). Some of the most dramatic orchestration in his music occurs in "Oliimpico," (I would select the live performance that occurs on producer Igor Krutoy's channel for the most exhilarating experience), "Stranger," and "Omir Oter" (the live version from his 2021 digital show.) I hope to see more Dimash reactions from you and I will definitely be sampling your band's music starting immediately.

    Good morning!
Hoppa, a new Dimash reactor. I'm very pleased that you shared your reaction with us, even though you hesitated for a while. I can understand you. When everyone is shouting about how great someone is, you're almost ... hm ... repulsed ...? Somehow you almost feel pressurised, because it just sounds too good to be true.
I'm glad you liked this song. If you want to make a reaction video to Dimash again, be prepared that he will sound completely different, simply because he doesn't just stay in one genre or language, but switches between them fluently, combines them (I'm only telling you this so that you won't be "disappointed" because you might have expected something similar to this song in the next one).
I'm now in my sixth year of travelling these planets as one of Dimash's "Dears" and I don't regret a day of it. I'm addicted to his voice, I'll admit that. So addicted, in fact, that I'll be hopping on a plane again in May to attend my third solo concert of his (which is bonkers, as I don't particularly like live concerts - the pushing and shoving, the crowds, the screaming) ...
Let's put it this way: Dimash has made me love music genres that I otherwise don't like and enjoy things that I actually hate or do scare me.
Lots of love from Switzerland 🤗🇨🇭

Just when you think you know him, he'll surprise you again. But definitely the best voice in the world for his range, emotiveness, clarity, responsiveness, timbers, etc. Also he sings in 14 languages, so there's that also! Hello, fellow mid-westerner! Everyone will know exactly who you mean if you only call him just Dimash, but just so you know, the last name is pronounced koo-die-bear-gen. I’ve heard the stress pronounced on all syllables except “die”. Soft roll the “r” if you wanna get fancy lol. Igor Krutoy (you’ll soon learn about him from Dears if you carry on down the rabbit hole) pronounces it at the beginning of Dimash’s “Love Is Like a Dream”, if you need audio.
Subbed for more Dimash and going to check out your band! Seems right up my alley (outside of that 18 months when I literally listened to nothing but Dimash LOL)!

We Dears (what he calls his fans) waited so long for this and it was worth it. It is a mash up of Bram Stoker's "Dracula", "Interview with a Vampire", Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and Meatloaf's "Bat out of hell". Dimash sings in all genres, has a 7+ octave range, has fan clubs in 150 countries, and has songs in 16 languages. You have just entered the portal of Dimash. His catalog is vast and varied. But the most interesting is that he can sing Opera, pop, jazz, rock, metal, funk, blues, rap, etc. You need to hear Dimash in other song and then you will see that he is not only the best vocalist in this entired world, he is a great performer, composer, and plays several instruments. The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. With friendship Rui Baptista

In the Dimash News it is written:
On February 26, 2024 in Istanbul, Dimash Qudaibergen presented a music video for a new work “When I’ve got you”. The premiere took place as part of a press conference held by the artist in connection with his upcoming solo concert in Turkiye.
The main idea of the clip belongs to Dimash and the MV’s director Galym Asylov: “A world-famous artist, who leads a very private lifestyle, decided to give his first open interview. The young journalist chosen by him goes to the meeting in great excitement, immensely worried and tormented by the question: “What if?…”. The woman’s vivid imagination suggests a mysterious image of the main character and plunges her into a mystical story.
“Everyone knows that Dimash is a kind and simple person. Not much is known about his personal life, he does not often appear in the media space and does not give particularly personal interviews. We wanted to present the artist from a slightly different side, in a “book”, fictionalized image”, - shared the director.
Galym Assylov and Zhanibek Gusmanov - the second director of the project and line producer say that the shooting process was very interesting, it took place in Almaty. A creative team of more than 70 people worked on the clip with the involvement of specialists from China. It was there that the costume of the main character was sewn and together with Kazakhstan specialists created the whole image of the artist.
The casting was not simple enough: many actresses and models were tried for the role of the main character and other characters. Three locations were used in the clip, and the search for ancient culture was not an easy task. In a creative atmosphere, a large international team tried to create a mysterious story in every element of the interior, in every detail of the costume, in every frame.
The composition itself was written by Dimash. The author of the lyrics was Candice Kelly. The co-writer of the lyrics, co-producer, orchestrator and arranger was Dmytro Gordon.
“Working with Dimash is a dream for many, and I felt extremely honored and privileged that he has entrusted me to work on this song with him. It felt like a great responsibility, as “When I’ve Got You” was a step into a new direction for Dimash as an artist, and it was also something different for his core audience. Dimash told me that for some time, he wanted a track on the verge of blues, jazz, rock, and r&b, and my suggestion was to make it sound fresh and edgy - something raw but beautiful, something truly unexpected. That has resulted in a blend of some heavy drums, electric guitars and piano together with the orchestra, synthesizers, harmonica, and even a choir. We wanted the song to sound groovy, cinematic, epic, and bold. No holding back!,” shared Dmytro Gordon. (Dimash News)

Congratulations for entering the Amazing world of Dimash!
He has no genre because he can sing it all. I'm not exaggerating; Opera, blues, contemporary, ballads, rap, folklore, etc. He can sing, I believe in 16 languages and is fluent in several. He has a Masters in music composition. He can play like 7 instruments and is working on his PHD. He's a very generous and humble man and a Humanitarian. As far as his voice is concerned, he can sing 7 octaves doing several in one run. He can hold a perfect note for 25 seconds, perhaps longer now. You were impressed with this, well you haven't heard anything yet. Plus he has other videos as well. There are many live performances and I don't mean phone videos, I mean the real thing. He has ruined it for many of us because after listening to his incredible voice, every other singer is lame. You compared him to others but, trust me the more you discover Dimash, you'll realize NO ONE compares to him. It's also funny how many think he's small, well he is actually 6'3" weighing about 190lbs.
I'm betting you'll soon become a "Dear". That's what he calls his fans, "Dears".

📌Welcome! Who is Dimash Qudaibergen? (pronounced: Dee-mahsh Koo-deye-bear-ghen)
Dimash Qudaibergen (Dinmukhammed Qanatuly Qudaibergen) was born on May 24, 1994 in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He is 1.91 m (6.3 ft) tall.
Dimash is a singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, actor, video director, screenwriter and entrepreneur who has received the title of Honored Music Artist of Kazakhstan and many other significant awards around the world.
Dimash Qudaibergen was very fortunate to be born into musical 'royalty'. Grandfather was a professional dombra player, grandmother was a teacher and sang. His mother Svetlana Aitbayeva has a classical education (not opera singer). His father, Kanat Aitbayev, is also a singer, songwriter and producer. His parents are known throughout the country and are “Honored Music Artists of Kazakhstan”. Both have been seen on the big stages and on television in Kazakhstan for many years.
    * Listen: th-cam.com/video/p71ot1uRZLQ/w-d-xo.html
According to Kazakh tradition, Dimash grew up with his grandparents. He calls them mom and dad and for a long time thought his parents were brother and sister-in-law. They all live together in one house.
Dimash said: "Open my heart, you will find music. If you open my brain you will find music. Music is my life."
Dimash wasn't a child prodigy, but he always wanted to be a musician and grew up surrounded by music. As a young boy (2 years old) he would often sit in the audience at his parents' performances and run onto the stage when they bowed at the end, and he did the same. While other children drew cars or princesses, Dimash drew a music studio and the instruments.
    * Interview with Dimash Kid for local studio 2006 - th-cam.com/video/lTjHW_IHTSM/w-d-xo.html
In his childhood, Dimash trained in taekwondo. He achieves his enormous lung capacity through targeted swimming and diving training, he dribbles very well with a football - th-cam.com/video/kt_lokOZLWw/w-d-xo.html and because his dears are important to him, he even takes additional dance lessons. Dimash's role models include Lara Fabian, Pavarotti, Igor Krutoy, Andrea Bocelli, Celin Dion, Queen and most importantly Michael Jackson.
He has been making music since he was 5 years old and has a perfect pitch. He has university degrees in piano, classical/opera, contemporary music and jazz with a major in singing. Dimash also completed a musical master class on Broadway and has a master's degree with a concentration in composition. He completed his studies with honors. He has composed 19 of his own songs so far and is currently working on his doctorate. So we will soon call him Dr. Phil Dimash Qudaibergen. 😃
Dimash did not fit into the traditional image of a singer in Kazakhstan and was heavily criticized. Even his singing teacher forbade him to sing in falsetto (interview with his first singing teacher - th-cam.com/video/V7hkcKYAnhg/w-d-xo.html ... but Dimash was undeterred.
As a child he performed at concerts and took part in various competitions. In 2012, Dimasch won the Grand Prix of Kazakh young singers “Schas Kanat” (“Young Wings”). In the same year he received first prize in the Ukrainian TV competition “Vostochnyi Bazaar” (Oriental Market), and a year later he won first place in the Kyrgyz international festival “Making Asia”. In 2015, Dimasch won the Grand Prize of the Belarusian music festival “Slavyansky Bazaar” (Slavic Market) - a milestone in the young singer's career.
The career jump to global megastar came in January 2017 after his participation in the Chinese singing competition “The Singer”.
In 2016, Dimash turned down the offer of an engagement at the National Opera in Astana (capital of Kazakhstan) because he wanted to go his own way. He created his own genre: neo-classical combined with classical, folklore and other styles like pop, rock, R&B and jazz. We lay people say “Popera”. Dimash not only sings in all genres, in some of his own compositions he brilliantly combines a wide variety of genres and styles and never ceases to amaze us dears. Dimash cannot be pigeonholed. 😃
Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. His father founded the company "DimashAli" with a friend (his son's name is Ali).
In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone, not only in China. His first album was certified 1x platinum in 37 seconds, 3x platinum in 47 minutes and 5x platinum in one day.
He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today, Dimash is his country's "cultural ambassador" and a "national treasure" (no official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in his family. He speaks 3 languages: Kazakh (mother tongue), Russian without an accent (second language in Kazakhstan) and English. So far he sings in 16 languages (phonetically). Dimash says dancing is difficult for him. But he moves great on stage and his hands speak. He is a grandios and sensitive story teller. Dimash trains his voice 3 hours every day...but he says: "You don't have to know how hard I've worked, you just have to enjoy the results."
In professional circles, Dimash is considered a lyrical baritone with a typically wide range. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor but as a natural soprano. He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, alto, soprano.
His current pitch range is G0 - D8 (outside the piano), 7,7 octaves! At least the Dimash shows us so far. 😃
    * Video about his vocal range: th-cam.com/video/7mo_MJbGSjw/w-d-xo.html
Dimash's 'heavenly' vocal abilities, from bass to coloratura soprano, are difficult to classify. They are not only limited to the enormous range of over seven octaves and the mixture of all musical genres, but it is also the incredible command of his voice and the ability to touch people emotionally and surprise them again and again. Such skills are very rare and can only be acquired, maintained and perfected through relentless and never-ending training.
    „DIMASH-SHOW. INSPIRATION” Dokumentary - th-cam.com/video/MLZzOPZ2KWE/w-d-xo.html
Dimash doesn't drink alcohol and of course he doesn't smoke, he doesn't drink iced drinks and he doesn't like socks. He loves fire and water on stage, of course only as stage sets. 🤣
A dear once gave him knee pads, but Dimash says he's so deep into his songs that he doesn't feel any pain. 😃
Dimash is a very handsome, attractive man and is on the list of the most handsome men in the world. He is a popular model all over the world. The best designers in the world court him and are inspired by his music. He doesn't just wear her creations on stage.
Dimash is humble, kind, generous, respectful, reserved and very, very hardworking. He gives a lot of his time and money to charity, supports people in need and always does it quietly. We Dears only find out because some people feel the need to talk about it.
Dimash is a megastar. He has the largest active fan base in the world, over 10 million Dears in fan clubs in 142 countries, women and men aged 9 to 90 around the world. (documented)… and at least millions and millions Dears who are not organized in the fan clubs. (In an interview his Dears were estimated at two billion.)
“DIMASH SHOW. UNIVERSE OF DEARS” Documentary - th-cam.com/video/4SexPGqVWtc/w-d-xo.html
Dimash calls us "Dears" because we are just as important and dear to him as his own family. The fan clubs are not like those of other artists. They don't just cheer for Dimash. They return Dimash's love and emulate him. They strive for good manners and help people who are not doing well or they are committed to the environment. The Dears do their part to make the world a better place. This connects Dimash and his dears around the world.
What can't he do? Oops, he can't cook! 😃 Did I forget something? Oh yeah! He sings all the time, all day! He sings because he has to, it's his life.
Go on the journey. He will surprise you every time, touch your heart, nourish your soul or blow you out of your chair. Handkerchiefs are always recommended, even for metalheads! Be careful and hold on tight when Dimash pulls out the left earbud! Meet Dimash, his singing, his diversity, his development, his human size, his humility, his love for his dears.
A dear commented: "Dimash deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for his tireless promotion of world peace for peoples around the world." One can only agree!
    * FULL SPEECH AT FORUM IN ASTANA (2022) - th-cam.com/video/2C55a3mvfPI/w-d-xo.html
Please NEVER react to The World's Best videos!
For TV viewers, the songs are terribly mangled and edited together. Most Dears boycott the videos because they know the backstory: Dimash left the show before the finale and his assured victory, turning down a record deal and $1 million in prize money. In his culture, adults do not compete with children. The organizers lied to him when he signed the contract and later humiliated him. Eyewitnesses here: th-cam.com/video/XQgCJBnRvVk/w-d-xo.html
(K or Q? - Dimash was first known in Russia and China. There is no Q in the Russian alphabet (Cyrillic script) or in Chinese hieroglyphs. Now he is known worldwide and his name is written with Q in Latin script. Kazakhstan is also in the process of switching to the Latin alphabet. So both are correct, in countries with Cyrillic script: Kudaibergen, in all countries with latin alphabet: Qudaibergen.)
There are good, great, excellent singers and there is DIMASH!

Dimash is so diverse, it's hard for people to understand. You never know what you're going to get when you pick one of his songs. What you do know is each one is going to be insanely good! I hope you continue to explore his music. Here are a few suggestions based on what type of music you seem to like (in no particular order). Stranger (new wave version is best IMO) - people often say it has a very "Game of Thrones" vibe to it. This song will give you a pretty good idea of his range, but just know it doesn't encompass his whole range (which is insane). His cover of Queen's The Show Must Go On (he didn't speak English at the time, so some pronunciation is off). Across Endless Dimensions - closest to "metal" type vocals that he has shown so far. Olympico from Igor Krutoy's channel (Igor is the composer) - this is song is in Italian and kind of a rock-opera vibe. Finally, SOS from his digital show. I think you will love the visuals and I feel this is a more mature version of this song, which is his "calling card". This song is in French and from the rock opera named Starmania.

Thank you for your reaction and welcome to the family of Dears! Dimash is a singer from Kazakhstan with an almost 7 octave range (he will turn 30 in May).
Besides having an enormous vocal range, Dimash also sings in multiple languages, in multiple styles and is a multi instrumentalist. Please react to the best version of his break-out song (to the entire world, that is, because he was already well known in some parts of the world) which is the 2017 Singer version of the song SOS: th-cam.com/video/bDX3FhmyNac/w-d-xo.html
Then also please react to a compilation of Dimash playing multiple instruments: th-cam.com/video/FyWuFaNK_7g/w-d-xo.html and Olimpico/Ogni Pietra: a modern operatic piece with a great jungle drumbeat and fantastic lightshow (IN ITALIAN!) th-cam.com/video/dkPS6t84qg4/w-d-xo.html
A more classical piece with female singers Lara Fabian and Aida Garifulina, Ti Amo Cosi: th-cam.com/video/XaQFfqC3lnU/w-d-xo.html
Then there's a movie score called Across Endless Dimensions in which his adlibs can easily rival with any heavy metal guitar solo th-cam.com/video/9efIWFhD8a4/w-d-xo.html
Also watch the Queen medley he did with the Super Vocal Boys, in which he does some distorted rock screams and especially pay attention to the very last note he sings in the medley, which he starts as the first of the 4 singers, but ends the last, it's amazing: th-cam.com/video/f3nklZEstm0/w-d-xo.html
Most recently Dimash did a classical duet with one of his idols, Maestro Placido Domingo th-cam.com/video/dYmEckJj8sk/w-d-xo.html. Placido Domingo, born Jan. 21, 1941 and Dimash, born May 24, 1994 singing this classic duet on December 10, 2023. So there's 53 years between them, let that sink in for a moment. Placido's voice is still wonderful at age 82 in this clip.

He is a genre defying artist so you'll never know what he's gonna do nxt, but he's more on neo classical genre, can play 7 instruments, sing in 16 languages, nicknamed as the 6 octave man and hailed by the vocal coaches and music experts as the best technical vocalist today. Pls react to SOS 2021 digital show, he's online concert during pandemic and Stranger 2021 to have an idea of what he can do with his voice. Subbing for more Dimash, greetings from Philippines❤

Dimash is even better live, he does all genres (Opera, Rock, Pop, Folk, Rap, everything really!) and has a range of well over 7 octaves. His soprano register is angelic! His Base and Baritone registers are just beautiful! Go to his channel, all his live performances and full concerts are there as well as his MV’s which are always mini-movies his masterpiece The Story of One Sky MV cost him 7 million USD. I would suggest next the song that made him famous all over the world SOS which shows about 4 octaves of his range (in one phrase!) my favourite live performance of SOS is at the Slavic Bazaar 2018. He won the Slavic Bazaar competition in Belarus in 2015, here he’s invited back as a guest, in 2021 he was one of the judges.

FINALLY. But there are TONS of AMAZING live performance clips on Dimash’s channel! Also, the live phone clip of “The Story of One Sky” is still an excellent recording.
But because you understand the importance of stagecraft and how it impacts a musical performance, I STRONGLY recommend two specific videos to start with: “SOS at Slavic Bazaar” and “Love is Like a Dream” - the one where he is in a eggplant colored velvet suit with a pianist accompanying him. The pianist is the guy who composed the song - Igor Kratoy.
The third must see ASAP is “Sinful Passion” live with A Studio. A Studio is the band accompanying him in this performance. The keyboardist wrote the song. Dimash adds a Kazakh song of mourning near the end as a tribute to a band member who passed away recently. You are gonna reach heaven when you see these.
There are three great versions of SOS on his channel. You will get a lot of fans request one of them.
The reason I recommend the Slavic Bazaar version is because of his stage presence in that performance. He is just standing alone on this gigantic stage, and at first he looks like a little boy smiling sheepishly in his dad’s suit. But then he starts to perform and everything changes. It’s a study in command of stage by understatement. Every glance, every slight movement of even a finger, every time he switches hands with the mic. All deliberate and done to enhance the performance. It will give you chills I promise.

Dimash was offered a place in an opera theater in Kazakhstan. He has 2 musical degrees. And he wrote a dissertation on singing technique. Dimash refused, saying that he was interested in music in all its directions. He plays 7-10 musical instruments. Dimash sang a duet with Andrea Bocelli. , Placido Domingo, Lara Fabian. And with the best singers in China.

@@Jane.S600 You shouldn’t quibble with the words.🙄 With Lara Fabian, for example, Dimash sang a duet and in a trio with Aida Garifulina. With Bocelli, Dimash sang to his accompaniment, sometimes Bocelli joined in. It may not be much, but it’s the dream of any singer to sing with a legend. And Bocelli highly praised Dimash, he said that he followed his performances.

I used to sing professionally… seeing Dimash’s SOS performance just shook me and made me reconsider everything that I thought I knew about the voice.
I initially assumed that reports of a 7+ octave range must be false… until I watched the performances and counted myself.
What really gets me though is how flawlessly he controls his voice despite huge shifts in range, genre, and technique. I mean not long before this video dropped, he was singing pure bel canto opera with Placido Domingo…
His voice and style just defies any attempt to classify it

Welcome to our beloved Dimash world! You saw how Dimash composed and musically produced this...His father is the general producer, as well! His whole family is very talented. This is the thing: Dimash is the master of EVERYTHING. Follow him...I PROMISE you, you will be SHOCKED in EVERY video! One thing: Do NOT get stuck in the "classic rock" thing. Dimash goes across EVERY SINGLE GENRE. His big inspiration wasn't in the classic rock thing genre...it was Michael Jackson, Lara Fabian, Andre Bocelli, Placido Domingo (who he recently did a duet with!). This is tame compared to what he is capable of doing, as you will hopefully find out. He goes off the piano scale in the lows, and way off the piano scale in the highs. I would look for El Amor En Ti to see how he does EVERYTHING in one song. Loved your reaction!

As a first introduction to Dimash, THIS is Dimash REELING it all back! This is his first composition/ music video of this genre. Dimash sings in 12+ languages, speaks multiple languages, sings in 7/8 octaves including notes that are not on the piano, he sings in quarter notes, plays multiple instruments, acts & sings in every genre, including opera. He also loves Michael Jackson, just in case you did not notice the slight MJ vibes in this. He sells out every concert around the world, I hope to attend one as soon as he is close enough. I highly recommend, listening to Stranger and SOS (the digital show) as follow-ups, I feel they may both be something you could appreciate.
