Thanks for another great video James. I was wondering: if you would have to start over and could just focus on 1 particular era of soccer cards. What would you choose? Vintage/Pre-modern/Modern or Ultraomdern?
About the Iverson effect- culture, etc- who do you think has it in soccer. I can kind of see Ronaldinho having that kind of affect- not a goat but with style and influence long after or maybe Thiery Henry who I think is constantly overrated but who has great influence and who had a distinct play style.
Great video- I still cant believe the prices commanded by Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham, Gio Reyna etc. The prices are so baked in at release if you buy at the FONO point youll never make the money back unless they become a GOAT.
Wouldnt say its random at all- its directly relevant. Personally I think its given too much relevance given his poor world cup results but its still a lesser key card for him compared to the craziness of the 2018 world cup cards/stickers.
I'd love for you to do the topic of 1/1 cards- especially as it relates to Messi and Ronaldo- since there are probably hundreds of 1/1s for them, including dozens of 1/1 autos each year, and will likely see another 100+ over the next 5 years. I think they are the ultimate over priced commodity in the entire sports card market- not even limited to soccer- unless you find a case of a true 1/1 auto. (Meaning only 1 ever- not just per set per year). I also think Panini and Topps needs to start diversifying their checklists and limiting the goats to case hit only or they will continue to grind Heung Min Son, Neymar, Ronaldo, Messi, Haaland, Maradonna, Beckham, etc prices into the dirt over time. Damn near every release has a plethora of their autographs and patch autos.

Great video! How do you feel about the hype around Endrick felipe?
Great Video! What about 2003 Ronaldo Upper Deck Rookies? Are these cards undervalued?
Great video 🔥

I don’t put much relevance on the 2006 Messi, I get it’s the first World Cup card, but it’s kind of a random narrative
