Ours is called Meet the Teacher and they go and meet them, drop supplies, and there’s signups for parent volunteer stuff etc. then once school starts we have curriculum night where the parents go and the teachers tell us all the deets.

We do something similar as well. I have a parents only event tonight where we learn all about how their year is going to go, the ins and outs and such.
