This is my second most favourite Queen Song. Number one for me is Show must Go On. Just started following you, so not sure if you've reacted to that one yet. If not, please have a look. It is one of the last songs Freddie sang before passing away and you can here the struggle in his voice
Everyone talks about the Montreal 81 performance, that was outstanding, but it lacked the Gospel harmonies, that made the song. this is the best version.

Itta Mandarano - Don't forget John Deacon had a first class honors degree in electrical engineering at NINETEEN! He invented an amp he made out of stuff he found in trash bins that Brian used to create unique sounds, vocal and orchestral, with his guitar.
Somebody To Love is reported to be Freddie Mercury's favorite song. He was influenced by Aretha Franklin when he wrote it.

At the end of the song you talked about the lyrics. Go really deep from this Queen album and listen to a song titled "White Man". It's basically about the takeover of North America from the indigenous people who were there hundreds before any white "European" settlers arrived. Yes I'm a white canadian and I'm calling out England and France in particular on this. You must listen to it with the lyrics. You can draw an analogy through the lyrics regarding slavery and the native Indian genocide of their cultures. They are calling out the "white man" on his last 4 or 5 hundred years of supposed superiority. Deep meaningful words. Cheers from the canadian Queen nut.
