Playing for Slytherin and winning in the end is super bittersweet. No Anne Sebastian or Ominis to celebrate with. Even if you don’t turn Sebastian in he still doesn’t celebrate. I guess with all those 3 have gone through, there’s more to life to them than a silly school cup.
Loved the game, but I have to say Hogwarts feels a bit empty, they could have added a few more students... Definitely should have added more to the House Cup ceremony...
The whole story was very underdeveloped and boring tbh.. and i finished it anyway and it felt like it had 0 consequences, just me being forced to lvl up 8 times for a cutscene lol. The gameplay and world are amazing but the story is below average.. i bet i fan find better fan fictions than this.

The worldbuilding had me on the edge of my seat however. I really felt like I was 15 again, and studying at Hogwarts at that. Nostalgia for sure, but I didn't mind one bit.
I think the biggest flaw of the game was the lack of companions you could bond with. It would be great if your character had a couple of friends to explore Hogwart’s with and maybe with some additional skills.
When I first finished the game as a hufflepuff I was so stoked seeing Poppy run towards me like that cause I thought I was about to hug her like in a movie.
So I won the House Cup with Ravenclaw and was really confused why Ominis was cheering for you even though he's not even in Ravenclaw. After watching this I think I know why. The game devs screwed up here. If Ominis was cheering for Slytherin like he should be, all four houses would have two named students cheering for you, but instead Ravenclaw has three and Slytherin only has one.
It's weird in general, some of the characters they chose to cheer with you don't really make sense, aside from Gryffindor's. Slytherin gets absolutely shafted with three characters who had zero real screen time and who we basically don't even know. I mean, Ominis not joining you makes sense but where is Sebastian - if you don't report him - or even Grace? She had her own side quest and was part of Summoner's Court as well, and yet they chose three complete no-names over her. Ravenclaw got two no-names as well even though it's actually the house with the most side-quest relevant NPCs.
Disappointed by this ending. They didn't even care to actually make them say what is your house that won, and if you're in Slytherin you get cheered on by some character you never even met except for that girl you met by the lake, where's Ominis, Sebastian, Grace, or even the Quidditch girl? Also Black should have been overjoyed if Slytherin had won but he doesn't care instead. I was expecting these kind of details but instead this cutscene felt kind of just put there at the last minute... Plus on ps4 you don't even see the house colors hanging from the ceiling but just the fireworks.
Imo, Black being not overjoyed is a clue by the devs that should the MC appear in other works, their house isn't Slytherin. It could show their opinion on where he belongs regarding their thoughts. But, they are very kind to let us choose our own houses😊
The two of you can give whatever excuses you want but no matter how biased you think Harry is it's an objective fact that Slytherin was a dark wizard factory.

The System here is kinda dissapointing would be cool if your style of play actually has effect on your House winng the cup in the end or not. Winning it automatically destroys the purpose of the house cup.

Let's be honest, given his family, he surely has had enough of such fanticism. But that's just my call. A bit exaggerated, but since Ominis is my favourite character and his backstory with his family is so tragic, it's what I wrote.

Doubt it. I love the Game and in my very biased opinion its a 10/10, but objectively looking at it as a game and unrelated to the Harry Potter series. It’s a generic RPG that’s like a 5-6/10.
@@gc8568 my "objective" mark is 8/10 for "testing" game. As it is not just some random game, but the Harry Potter universe game - I expect to see few DLS which will make it even better (quidditch for example) and/or second part. If it will happen I will give this game 9/10; if not - 7.

Enemies are one dimensional, same fights the entire game, also some are bullet spongey even while using powerful spells. The Gear storage system is horrible you constantly run out of space and have to sell the outfits which you *CONSTANTLY* change for slight upgrades every 2 minutes and then need to change the outfits appearance so your character doesn’t look stupid. You can’t even sell items like potions or ingredients. Look at a game like Skyrim and then Hogwarts Legacy. By no means is Skyrim perfect, but the customization and vastly different play styles and builds you can do in that game is night and day. The game isn’t bad, but it’s not great either. As a Harry Potter fan I love the amount of details put in for fans, but again as a game by itself it’s nothing to write home about. It’s playable and fun, but it doesn’t revolutionize the wheel.

Honestly, Ominis is my fav character. I felt for him when he heard the edge of fanticism in PNB's voice at Salazar Slytherin.
