The World famous Red Arrows returned to the full 9 airplanes for the first time in 2024.
Since 2022 the teams has been down to 7, they managed 8 for the 2023 display season.
The year we have a New Team Leader in Red 1 "Bond" and 3 new piloted joined the famous team to make it back to 9.
We are Coningsby live have been watching the team during the winter training, seeing Red 1 and the new pilots fly as a 4 ship, then 5, 7 and 8 last month.
This was the first time the team as flown as the full 9 for the 2024 season. We feel so lucky and blessed to see them return for the full team for the 60th Anniversary of the Red Arrows.

Great to see! Little note, the shape captioned here as Big Vixen/Sea Vixen is Phoenix. Big Vixen is what we see at 4min 20. It's the same shape, just Phoenix has six jets in line abreast.

I'm a huge fan. But can we really go on allowing such needless and polluting displays (Or indeed, motor racing or anything involving a large engine which really proves nothing about anything, but just pours exhaust into the Atmosphere) ? Just look at 4:41...
