As for the monkey we control idk, there are many speculations that he’s a clone or a monkey who’s wants to walk the same path and free wukong. Or wukong himself and the one sealed was a clone.🤷🏽♂️

The most likely theory is that we play as Macaque instead of Wukong. Since they both have the same powers, weapons, fighting style, and are pretty close in strength (in the legend Macaque and Wukong clash multiple times before retreating a bit so Macaque is similar to Wukong in strength) so I believe we play as Macaque.
Delirious getting the wandering wight on his second try is impressive, he is a harder boss you are meant to come back to. Those deluxe edition items really helped, good job Delirious!

Its an interesting thought because the Loop of Binding is supposed to disappear upon reaching his attainment of Buddhahood which was confirmed by his title in the beginning as "Victorious Fighting Buddha" however the fact that he gained back the Binding crown is a weird.. scenario so to say but we'll probably learn on about it in the future of this game

He first tried Whiteclad noble..!! I'm level 26 had have tried like over 50 times now and still can't beat him....I did notice when Del fought him..WCN is not as nearly as aggressive as when I fight him...shits weird
You got the blue big head monk to 2% of his health on first try is hella impressive. From what I’ve seen the it takes an average of 10 tries to beat him, Delirious the humble goat😂

Omg i love this! Journey to the west is such a wonderful part of my childhood. When they showed Wukong riding the nimbus, i wowed out loud! The game developers did an incredible job. I think i actually heard of this game some time last year, and thought it was epic and beautiful, but I did not expect Delirious to play this game. im happy to see him play it! I feel like Cartoonz would like this game too lol

This is a good strong start to the game, and I am enjoying the playthrough; for all your talk for sucking at souls-like games, you're doing well. And there's a lot of bosses, so far, too! Keep it up. Also, yeah, this game looks beautiful; haven't seen many Chinese games, but this definitely looks like a good example of what they can do.
