  • Nebuchadnezzar was a powerful king of Babylon who reigned from about 605 BC until around 562 BC.
As a conqueror of Jerusalem and an architect of Jewish captivity, it's no surprised that Nebuchadnezzar would be a noteworthy biblical figure, playing a prominent role in many famous biblical stories.

    On the biblical Nebuchadnezzar.
Nebuchadonossar, Nebo (Mercury), Achad (the sun), Adan (Adon-is), Ossar (Oseir-is); Nabocolassar, Nabo (Mercury), Ac (the fire-sun), El (the sun), Asar (Mars), the sun-god; Nabopolassar, Nabo (Mercury), Apol (Apollo), Assar (Mars)-suggests the idea that many of the names of the ancient world will be found to be made up of other names of one and two syllables. They may finally be reduced to eight names of sun-gods of one syllable each, which, variously compounded together, make up the names of gods, kings, rivers, countries, and cities. They are Ab, Ak, Am, Ar, As, At (Ad), El, and On (Ani).

I have read the old testament repeatedly, especially the book of Daniel (particularly the beginning of it when Nebuchadnezzar had the dream and demanded the interpretation.
Just recently, a notion had sprung up in my mind: What if Nebuchadnezzar...was actually a woman? This female -king- of Babylon seemed, according to my reading of Daniel, to get enraged in a way in which a woman would be. Also, "his" court officials (eunuchs) were all castrated. Maybe Nebuchadnezzar's "woman's scorn" didnt have any concern over the male captives who were ordered to have their male parts removed. A woman who would don the appearance of a man, perhaps. A woman who had no sexual interest in man, but towards other women.

Nebuchadnezzar accomplished amazing things especially on his siege against Tyre leading to the ancient prophecy of Ezekiel.
In Ezekiel's day, the ancient past, I would contend Ezekiel's Bible prophecy was fulfilled, literally, and astonishingly 100% He even predicts Alexander the Great's method which seams COMPLETELY ABSURD in the text.
Ezekiel 26:12 - "They will plunder your wealth and loot your merchandise; they will break down your walls and demolish your fine houses and throw your stones, timber and rubble into the sea."
That sounds insane! Throw your stones/timber/rubble into the sea but THATS WHAT HAPPENED on the next wave two. 🙌
Even now 2.5k years later the Tyre of Ezekiel's day is vacant.

Several genetic studies have been made showing that the Jews of today are in fact descendants of people from the Levant (Hebrews) and are extremely close to Samaritans (who remained in the Levant and were relatively isolated). Furthermore, it doesn’t take much to show that their traditions are of Levantine origins and to further drive the idea, you don’t think all Jews came from outside Israel do you? The Mizrahi have been in the area continuously even after the Babylonian captivity (which only took the elites of Judah).

      Athedon Athedon
Ehh... Jews don’t really preach... That’s kind of why they’re so small of a community. And it’s not far fetched for the exact reasons I have stated, Jews and non Jews that have seriously taken a look at the origins of the Jewish Israelis and diaspora and have come down to the same conclusion that their traditions, culture, and genetics do originate from the Levant. This is not disputable. They’re extremely similar to the Samaritan Israelites who remained in the area during the diaspora and long before modern Israel existed.
What is far fetched? We have records of the diaspora from Jewish and non Jewish contemporaries. We have records from contemporary Jews in ancient Israel and Judea that show that their culture is very much present in modern Jews. We have numerous sources that show that most modern Jews do have Levantine origins and are similar to other Levantine peoples (again Samaritans and Arabs living in the area but more closely related to the former).
Now there ARE groups that have no connection, historically, culturally, genetically, or otherwise that do try to claim Hebrew heritage and are not ashamed to preach it. They’re mostly “Black Hebrews” and “British Israelites”. They’re only Hebrew when they want to claim ethnic superiority over others and aren’t even converts to the religion. Few take them seriously.
