Okay in the second story, the wife needs to know. She'll probably be heartbroken for a while and wished she knew sooner but she'll be grateful anyway that she was told instead of it being a secret any longer.

Reminds me of lavender marriage. And honestly, in that situation, I am happy for them. They can’t marry the people they truly love, but when it’s just them, they don’t have to pretend to love each other. They can still both find love and live their life’s, it’s just that they have to pretend to love each other in front of their families. The situation could be much worse, but it isn’t

This is just my personal opinion, but I think the friend should tell(in the second story). I think she deserves to know because ignorance is not always bliss, and it’ll cause more pain if she finds out like 5 years later. You may think that would be the guy not being a good friend, but it’s not like he was a good husband if he cheated on her. Also, why would you be friends with someone who does this. I don’t think I would trust them

This is kind of related to the second last story. My mum had an Indian friend that wasn’t allowed to leave the house until she got married. She ended up marrying her cousin and managed to go overseas. Not too sure how’s she doing now because my mum lost contact with them. But I hope she’s doing well, it’s kinda sad knowing how these things are happening in so many places in the world.

@@slvttysmile Yeah, here people are usually married to like really really distant cousins so their castes don't lose their value. Arranged marriage is the first option but if you have especially supportive parents then you might get to find love, even dating is forbidden and people date in secret. Relationships with muslims (if you're a different religion, in most cases that is) and people of lower castes is a big no-no.
@@slvttysmile mostly it's the Muslims who marry among their maternal cousins (i think?)... I am yet to hear about such marriages in other religions that we find here.
And nowadays, love marriage is becoming more common as people are becoming more open minded. But still our country has a long way to go.

@@akeliaj7486 Not sure how much she kept her wishes secret because "she was crazy about the opposite". In any case, if he wanted to be safe regardless of his partner, most vasectomies are reversible in case he one day changes his mind.
Here's a secret: My dad cheated on my mom with my brother and sister's piano teacher when I was 7. I don't think he's doing anything nowadays, they're still married but they still argue a lot. I can't ever ask for piano lessons now.

I don’t think it’s weird at all to put a child up for adoption if you’re not ready for it. It might be a bit weird to send her away to have the baby, but the kid isn’t abandoned. They gave it to a home which will probably be able to take care of it better than she could have if she wasn’t ready.

Here's what I would do:
*First Story:* Wouldn't tell the husband because I wouldn't want to damage his relationship with his kid. However, if the relationship was already bad, I'd tell him.
*Second Story:* Would tell because she and her sister' husband deserve to know.
*Third Story:* Wouldn't tell because it's only going to cause problems. It doesn't change anything anyways. He raised her. It doesn't matter if he's bio dad or not. He IS her father now.
*Fourth Story:* I'm also Indian and that's sad. Wouldn't tell because outing someone is wrong but I'm glad that both parties know the truth.
Story #1 was about the girlfriend sabotaging the birth control, nowhere did I see a story about a husband and son??
