I’m a massive fan of this guitar player. He shows great restraint and never over plays and his tone is always awesome!
I think that's an essential characteristic for session musicians. They have to leave their egos at home. I'd seen several videos featuring Cam Blokland either singing or playing rhythm guitar, but it turned out in a later video (Beat It, I think) that he's an awesome lead guitarist. Another one is HSCC's Jake Milic, who nails his parts and never overplays. As a guitar player myself, I take my hat off to these guys, because I usually give in to the temptation to show off!
Being a HSCC fan, I have been with Darren's current channel since its inception. To us not from SA, Cam and Zyke are two revealations as great lead vocalists by watching this channel. Even though himself a very good guitarist, during the formative year of SIL, Cam has recessed to a backseat whenever Zan or Stefan was around. With SIL now established, it's good that we get to see more of lead guitar works. Yes, if we watched Crafty's own channel, we would also understand why Crafty was ready playing rhythm guitar alongside Cameron. It's mutual support and understanding to come up with a great piece of music.
A quick one on Jake. I am sure he has chops good enough to be now HSCC's resident guitarist but I have yet to see him getting his true shining moments. Hope his channel can pick a right song for him soon.

I’m a singer and this is another level of excellence! GM’s singing is technically difficult with a very unique style (makes him almost impossible to copy), I’ve had to stop my day a listen to this about 5 times!!

I've listened to this 4 times in a row now, Watched Crafty's video. Now watched it again and each time I find something new that stands out. The vocals from Shaun are awesome, the harmonies are amazing, the bass absolutely stands out and I could listen to that pump away on its own. But it all just fits with the drums, keys and Crafty's classy guitar bits. Great song and video guys. I love Zkye's hat as well, dance moves, BVs. Love it Love it, LOVE IT! I've raved on enough now I think I'll listen a few more times.👏👏👏
