Generally speaking I‘d always put the G2 after all my fuzz, compressor and other drive pedals. Then that goes into modulation and time based FXs. Like if it was my amp’s preamp. And you can actually use it as a preamp and go from the G2 to the FX loop return. That bypasses your amps pre and uses the g2 as such. That’s also a cool tone. 👍
Green, blue, red. My faves in that order! Great session, very informative observations and opinion coupled with excellent demonstation playing. thanks.
stanislavmigra exactly. And so much more. I just tried it on two shows this weekend as a booster instead of my j.rockett Archer. I used it to boost the King of Tone. The G2 nailed that too. I’m very impressed! Cheers man!
Hi Kris, great review. You really had some awesome tones. I’d love to see more of that Friedman Vintage T in your future videos, I was really blown away by how good that guitar sounded.
Paul Dugdale it’s a 2016 custom shop ‘53 reissue tele. Hand wound Nocaster pickups, ash body, 6105 frets, 9.5” radius, large C neck profile. I got lucky with it. It has something special about it. 💛

Poo Ninja haha! Thanks a lot my man!! Yeah Derek and Dan are doing a freaking good job!
Very nice demo Kris. I'm getting the g2 and g4. Thank you.
Thanks man! Those are awesome pedals. G2 for killer british crunch and G4 for all the gain. 💪
Sweet pedal 🤙🏽
I am late but I think it is one of the best video for the G2 pedal. Very informative.
Geez that sounded awesome at the end with the pedal stacking. Do you have any tips for learning to play lead?
Awesome video!..sounds amazing Chris!
Kris, you are a world class player and presenter! Thanks for all of the hard work!
Adam - Canada
Hey Adam, thank you very much! That's awesome to hear!
Cheers man
Besides the nice demo of the Archer into the G2, can you briefly describe a pedalboard config/flow that would include the G2?

This pedal feels like adding another clean channel to your rig

@@KrisBarocsi there are so many great pedals, that I want to have. It is becoming out of my comfort (money?) zone :D ...
Can't wait to get mine! I think it will be my favourite out of the three. Killer playing as always, dude!
CatPick Studios luv ya dude, thanks!! Yeah it’s so well voiced and so versatile. A very inspiring little green boxindeed. 😎

Supperconductor thanks a lot man! I do not own a Friedman guitar though. I‘d love to of course. Which Vintage T do you mean?
Kris Barocsi This one - www.thomann.de/de/friedman_vintage_t_ambs90ht.htm that you used in the strings comparison video you did with Andy.
Nice, real world scenario, demo. I can see from this how i can integrate it into the rig. Versatile too if I need more gain from it.
G2 or G3 or G4
Which one?
G2 if you like boost and low Medium growling overdrive and can clean up very punchy. G3 and G4 if you need heavy overdrive or gain.
14:50 Yes !!!
Man Chris that is nice .but so is that Tele ..I have a Peavey generation Tele but that of yours is wild and thank you
I want a G2 as well
Paul Dugdale thanks brother! Yeah owning my tele feels like winning the lottery. Haha! It’s my only guitar I could never let go. ♥️

Great demo - you really showed the range of the G2. I only have 1 question - how does it sound with a TS9 boosting the input to the G2?
A comparison amp + pedals vs multichannel amp would be nice
They all scream!
Chris Jeneson yeah all three are sick in different ways. Love them.
