Almost every time I’m alone and have had to much White wine late at night, I play this, get goose bumps at the recovery and then cry a little and apologize to my late-grandmother for not taking my violin lessons more seriously.
Im not a violinist but even the laymen can see how a phenomenal musician she is. Amazing. I came for the broken string but Im leaving astonished by her playing.
The recovery is just icing on the most beautiful of cakes. 2:27 was the first of several times my heart went into my throat throughout the composition. Beautiful work young lady, absolutely beautiful!
@@jaimel6598 He was ruled ineligible for military service. And while he did fulfill a lesser civil defense requirement, even if he did train with a government-owned weapon, it isn’t the same as owning one. I’d still bet he hasn’t ever owned one
Shamelessly I find myself watching this video over and over again. The whole performance is quite titillating, and still...Kristine's effortless recovery from a malfunction to seamlessly carry on is so inspiringly eloquent. Her demeanor of quit wit is so easily seen expressed in her face and smile. Talk about "Having Game"! Just awesome!
Hahaha easiest but the timing is tricky too. You have to follow the entire piece and it’s harder to track if you’re not actually playing anything. I knew someone who kept on messing a similar instrument and it kept on ruining the performance. It’s a practice so every time he fucks up, the band starts again from the top. There’s a point where the conductor went apeshit and the guy that keeps on messing up ended up crying hahahahahaha
I can feel the pain at the end. At the right place though. Climax. The sound in the first Violin is so great. I suppose it was tuned more for solo playing in mind. I feel like a smartass for writing that.
The guy in the middle is mostly ignored and only served its function during the development and now is there only to turn his back to the audience . Cast him to the fire! 🤣
@@dorotheaa17 I completely agree. We call ourselves a civilized society. As long as people like this guy exist, being civilized is impossible. They can't appreciate what the performer is doing, and they just want to be disgusting and put them off. As for me, I'm going to report this comment.
To have a string snap in front of that full concert hall would be absolutely terrifying for me, but Kristine just smiled through it! What a champion

1:25 God, that clash of the cymbals gives me chills. In a really, really, really good way.

Tremendo No lo aprecie hasta ahora
The part before the snap is brilliant.
yeah the main theme is amazing

Vertuose vous êtes une grande star sur à la fin vous avez sauvé la situation avec une intelligence et finesse bravo
You play with such precision that matches your fire.
After the snap she was just smiling the whole time😂
Bravo Kristine!
This is so awesome!
The bow snaps at 5:17 for anyone who wants to know.
Frédérique Poitras *e string
Yes, we all see and hear that. But the good (although young) Kristine balanas resolves the problem brilliantly.
Not good, AMAZING 🤩😌
The string broke almost with perfect timing -- almost at that hold note. 🎼
One more second would have been more convenient - then she wouldn’t have had to play on the imaginary E string lol
Her tone is divine.
"Remember, switching to your sidearm is always faster than reloading."
I love you.

why would she 😪😯😭🥱💀
Beautiful playing!
The only words I can describe your performances are "total Mastery!"
You are so amazing!!! ❤️ 🧡 💛 💚 💙 💜

Your an amazing violinist
beautiful
fabulous playing, what panache ! and what sang froid when the string broke.. too much passion !
1:28 probably the easiest instrument to play in this piece
Dude lmao

Quite literally every instrument is difficult a degree, even literally all the percussion, if you’re off EVERYONE knows

BRAVO!!!
If you listen with your eyes closed , unknown to the fact that her string broke, you'll not even realise that it did!!!! 😳😳😳
Uh..you can clearly hear it, or am I missing something
@@RafaSilva98 yeah that string was pretty loud when it broke, if I was playing and my string just broke then I would have jumped lmao
Woow!!!
So talented and stunning 🤩🥰 I’m girl crushing
That lady can fiddle a tune. I am in complete awe of creative people.
bravo !
Those camera shutter sounds in the middle are really irritating...

Me: Mom! Finally! I made it to the orchestra!
My part: 1:28
That's as fierce as it gets!
Maestro Kuzma, it is a polonaise or a meditation?
Salvatore Lombardo - crazy violinist Technically a polonaise is supposed to be slow, but Wieniawski begged to differ, so he made it fast

I forgot to close my shop yesterday. Everything ok now but lock is missing.
It broke on a right timing

lol

Хорошо хоть лямки не лопнули!
nice playing, but too slow. 4:52 - so much rubato that the orchestra gets ahead, kind of a slow train wreck. this is supposed to be a virtuoso piece
Well,I guess you’ll just have to get up and show us all how it’s done then, hey,Maestro Genius
@@christopherakee2418 exactly. You all try to get up and do it all “virtuoso.” I’ve played for 10 years and it’s the hardest thing.
