Agreed. Black American music at the moment is steeped in colourism. Most of the girls in their videos aren't even black or fully black. And even though there's still a bit of colourism in the videos African male artists make, on the whole they are doing us black women proud by representing us in good roles (the love interest, sensual dancer, etc).
