’ہم چاہتے تھے کہ خواجہ سرا کا کردار نبھانے کے لیے انھی کی کمیونٹی سے کوئی ہو لیکن ہمیں ایکٹرز نہیں ملے۔‘
سوشل میڈیا پر آج کل ڈرامہ سیریل ’گُرو‘ کا کافی چرچا ہے اور ’گرو ستار‘ کا کردار نبھانے والے علی رحمان کی اداکاری کی خوب تعریف بھی کی جا رہی ہے۔ لیکن دوسری جانب خواجہ سراؤں کی کمیونٹی کی جانب سے یہ تنقید بھی آئی کہ ’کم سے کم ان کرداروں کے لیے تو انھی کو کاسٹ کیا جائے۔‘
’گُرو‘ ڈرامے سے متعلق علی رحمان خان نے صحافی شمائلہ خان سے خصوصی گفتگو کی اور ان مشکلات کا ذکر بھی کیا جس کا سامنا انھیں خواجہ سرا کا کردار نبھاتے ہوئے کرنا پڑا۔
