That's not why they switch. Because a sniper is heavy and when you move it slows you down, So when they miss a shot they switch to a knife so they can get to cover or dodge the bullets quicker because the knife is not heavy you could move fast and get to cover fast rather than holding the sniper that can slow you down while going in to cover after missing a shot.
my mouse sensitivity is 49 and zoom sensitivity is 43, my best score in DM is a maximum of 42 kills with a maximum of 17 deaths. i guess people have different preferences
i actually just came to check the preferred sensitivity bc i think my zoom sensitivity is too fast that i always have to double scope for more accuracy

You know? It's funny how I can headshot most enemies when I'm using a melee weapon but ultimately has no skills when it comes to sniping, I mostly do melee battles and Za2 modes but I think that last sentence of mine was irrelevant and unnecessary =_=

The true is you CAN shoot while moving. You need to hold A or D and press W many time and fastest you can
