Support Clefairy + Lunala = EASY Set Up In Reg G Meta - Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Ranked VGC (#23)

A two game showcase of a fun and consistent(for once) team that I made the other night while in a sleepless fit.
The premise of the team is quite simple, and that is to Calm Mind boost on Lunala and sweep through your opponents team with the deadly combination of Moonblast/Moongeist Beam. Lunala becomes nearly impossible to KO with the use of Shadowshield+Leftovers+Protect in conjuncture with the support of the appropriate Pokemon in Clefairy, Rillaboom, Pellipper, and Arcanine.
Clefairy being the strongest supportive Pokémon of the bunch usually offers the safest turn one setup through Follow Me pressure + Friend Guard. Life Dew acts as a way to prolong both Clefairy and its partners life and poises to re-establish full HP and Shadowshield for Lunala. Sing is for the memes, because you know... what if LMAO.
Rillaboom is a Pretty standard lead partner as well for Lunala. Offering Fake Out pressure and Terrain control. Rillaboom is particularly useful in dispatching of Miraidon's Electric Terrain, and is safe on switch-in. The Grassy Terrain healing provided goes an incredibly long way in bolstering Lunala making that full HP Shadowshield threshold that much more threatening; specifically in the face of passive play.
Pellipper acts as the primary check to Calyrex-Ice for the team, with the Flying Type + Wide Guard Pellipper is essentially immune to the common attack moves that Calyrex-Ice carries. Tailwind for the sometimes needed Speed Control. The damage output of this Pokémon is not to be underestimated. With Timid 252Speed/252Special Attack a Rain Boosted Weather Ball does a tremendous amount of damage; and the high Base power of Hurricane along with its Confusion chance makes this Pokémon a nightmare for opponents who choose to ignore it.
H-Arcanine with Clear Amulet + Protect fulfills similar roles to that of the Choice Band variant without the volatility of being choice locked. The damage of Clear Amulet H-Arcanine is virtually the same to that of a Choice Band variant at -1 Attack. Aside from the obvious versatility of Intimidate support this Pokémon offers specific offensive advantages into Calyrex-Ice Trick Room teams, as well as Koraidon Sun teams. High Damage + Rock Slide Flinch is incredibly threatening to passive lead strategies.
Raging Bolt with Choice Specs is the final piece and exists primarily to patch-up potential weakness to common Fire-Water-Grass cores, and more specifically Urshifu-Water. Choice Specs Thunderbolt offers OHKO into non-AV Kyogres, and insane damage pressure on neutral hit. Volt Switch for a slow pivot; and Draco Meteor for the nuke.
The team is often top-heavy with most your damage coming from Lunala; but offers you every chance to slow the game down, gain advantage, and find your path to victory!
