    Introduction
The Truman Senate War Investigating Committee called the North American Aviation P-51 Mustang “the most aerodynamically perfect pursuit plane in existence.” During WWII, it blasted trains, ships, and enemy installations throughout Western Europe. The “D” variant, outfitted with the legendary Merlin engine, gave the U.S. Army Air Forces a high-altitude, long-range fighter capable of escorting heavy bomber formations the entire way to Berlin and back. The E-flite P-51D Mustang 1.5m also goes the distance - to reproduce the famous fighter with exceptional detail, handling, performance and presence. It’s packed with Extra Scale details and functional features including LED lights, sequenced main and tailwheel gear doors, flaps and much more, and is also equipped with a Spektrum Avian Smart ESC to deliver an unmatched warbird flying experience.

These P51s have a massive torque roll upon takeoff especially when your taking off from long grass. I almost lost my 1700mm yesterday.

  • @pdspartner1

I own one of these (and the FW 190). It flies really nice but is a bit "squirrely" on the ground. The landing gear also stall out if the takeoff power is full so I throttle back after takeoff before retracting the gear. It is really fast and maneuverable and a great flier

John, Beautiful warbird from Eflite. Have to admit, you and Ryan get me excited flying around them curbs and power poles...haha.
I was guessing maybe 65% in the tank after your flight....wow. Smooth flying buddy. Got to see several of these at Imperial RC along with the FW-190. What a real treat that was....Another nice bird from HH (FW-190). Also, they raffled one of my Eflite P51 1.5m to benefit the club. One of the club members got to take it home. I was glad to see that...Sure wish ya'll were closer...maybe someday the stars will align.... Love to meet folks we chat with on YT channel in person.... Good folks! Enjoyed the video.... Hope you, Ryan, Roy , & Bill are doing good. :)
