From a tender age, Thailand setter Nootsara Tomkom has been pushing her skills’ boundaries to overcome obstacles and emerge victorious - like a song that has been set on repeat. To be the team’s playmaker, the position requires to run the offense and create scoring opportunities for the team. But Nootsara is no ordinary setter, as she goes for creativity and a higher degree of difficulty in setting. “Each setter is different from each other because of the differences in ideas. Maybe I am different because I like going for creativity and doing hard-to-set balls. It is more of a challenge for me because a difficult set has a high risk for error but becomes spectacular when you make it.” The 35-year-old Thai setter has learned how to truly enjoy competing against herself and has become a well-known figure in international volleyball, setting up plays for other superstars. Hello! Team Thailand...where is Nootsara Tomkom right now? Is she still playing in her team?..she is my all time favorite volleyball player...fan from the PHILIPPINES

She is still playing, not retired yet. Her name isn't included in any Thai club team roster of the 1st leg maybe because she wants a break or she is too expensive to hire. We shall wait and see when 2nd leg of Thailand League starting.

@@deebs923 Wilawan only one in the Fab Five that retired from International duty. The other four ( Nootsara, Pluemjit, Onuma and Malika ) still playing. News go round that they roles probably reduce to support roles. But I doubt Nootsara will be in support role. She still one of the best and most likely still feature in main duty for couple more years.
