One of my absolute favs in todays powermetal scene. Orden means "Order" and Ogan means "Fear" in celtic. So there you go, great reaction!

Orden Ogan is a mixture of German and old Celtic for "The Order of Fear". The guy is they're mascot of sorts and his name is Allister Vale.
In my language (Bulgarian) Orden ogan (Орден огън) means The Order of Fire. Interesting :).
Love this song! The album it’s on, To The End is one of my favorite albums. Very excited to see them live in September at ProgPower USA.
The red scarf guy is Alistair Vale. He's their mascot and their album tell the story of his life which is ironic cause he is cursed with immortality.

Yessss, some more Orden Ogan. I just love some good powermetal. I still recommend you some melodic deathmetal: Raintime - Rolling Chances (not the musicvideo, it's low quality)
Heck yeah! These guys and Elvenking are the top in power metal as far as I am concerned
My favorite song off this album has got to be Dying Paradise. I love this band. They are breath of fresh air in metal nowadays.
Also, their mascot is like Eddie from Iron Maiden basically. Orden Ogan Mascot: Alister Vale, an immortal Humanoid Abomination who wears a longcoat, top hat, and red scarf and has appeared in every album cover art since Vale.

This is the song that got me into this band
Same, when I first heard it, it made me feel chills and *alive.* Especially at 8:27, when the two guitars start being played simultaneously. Back when I had my ANC headphones with an extra bass option (had them on during my first listen), it really immersed me into it, *really* felt alive.

Orden Ogan has a meaning. Oredn - Order in German, and Ogan in Celtic i belive is Fear. So "Fear Order" or "Order of Fera" maybe.
Orden Ogan means The Order of Fear. ORDEN is the German for Order and OGAN is the old Celtic word for Fear. This means they put much more thought into their name than the dart board name choosing that you were discussing at the beginning.

If you are looking for something different, I recommend Heilung - Hamrer Hippyer live at Castlefest 2017. It's one of the most metal songs I have ever heard, and the band isn't even metal.
