That is messed up quarter steps this guy must of been modded them and because it’s messed up the game wants to spawn Mario out of bounds due to the quarter step speed but the game don’t want mario out of bounds leading a game crash so the game can still be playable and the programming is not messed up
Yeah I can explain why those textures happen it’s called glitched textures I don’t know how it happens but it’s when the game has way to many textures or is modded basically blue means the floor green means the wall and red means the celling means red and black means out of bounds honesty this all looks like chaos and make no sense at all so I’m shocked this guy was able to keep his game that long by overdosing with coins and his Game to near crashing with the texture overloading texture mod or glitch
Seems like the emulator has no other virtual machinery for the target file, so it uses the target file with it's own machinery, that its main sequences are working on. This gains no crash protection for the emulator itself. As if game crashes, it makes a shockwave. The shockwave penetrates through the emulator program's crash protections and sends a weird distorted signal to the main sequence computer. Computer detects, that something went terribly wrong, then BSoD's.
Yeah there is more to that basically this guy has gotten so much speed where he can go up to an out of bounds area which happens when the death screen appears because the game does not want mario to be there and thanks by how high he gone up he has messed up his next spawn location basically the way mario died and how much speed he still have the next spawn location basically they want mario to be is out of bounds every quarter step is out of bounds and the game does not want him out of bounds so they have no clue what to do what to do anymore leading to the game crashing to not mess up the programming and mario64 still being playable in a few frames yeah a lot happens here you can’t see
Yeah I remember it made my game worse made it lagger showing me random colours as in removing sprites and made my game crash because the objects is max limit and the game is asking another 1up that’s impossible because there is no room at all the game can’t remove assets leading to a game crash because the game have no clue what to do at that point so it crashes to keep mario 64 playable and not unplayable
There isn’t a lot that is funnier than seeing the game not work because you did something. Games don’t punish you for it, you actually force the games to punish itself. The treatment after you get a crash is hearing *NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN* or *ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR* & it’s funny because not only is it unexpected, the game basically punches itself in the face in such a way that it completely breaks down while making duck screams.

Oh that’s a glitch more to that basically If the stars are objects in the gameplay screen and 3D the game would of crashed it’s more of a glitch than anything WHATS the limit don’t know anyways the beginning of the crash starts in 1:17 where his speed is very high as hell where he is able to do what the devs did not want him to do fly right up the map basically this is where there is no turning back Anyways he is going so high up where is goes out of bounds the game does not want mario out of bounds at all so if you go through it the game kills you Anyways thanks to him going so high up in the air and keeping his speed once he died his spawn point is messed up right at 1:28 And basically the game wants to spawn mario in a out of bounds spot the game checks the 4 quarter steps and there all out of bounds basically the programming is telling mario to be here and the game does not want mario out of bounds and this is where the game have no clue what to do so The game crashes at 1:29 yes that quickly to not mess up any programming just so mario 64 can still be playable if that crash did not happen he would be stuck there making the game unplayable at best or at worse he can’t even go at the title screen anymore

I used to play the DS version of this game and whenever I use the Action Replay on Tiny Huge Island, the game often crashes(forcing you to turn off your DS and turn back on).
If anyone is wondering, an orange screen of death means that your GPU is overloaded. The GPU is what is responsible for showing you what's on screen.
If your gpu was overloaded wouldnt it be a black screen?
