Could you consider a similar video for support roles (healer and tank)? I just got back into the game after a 4 year break. I am loving DPS but also love the idea of healing my whole party or tanking an entire dungeon.
TBH, there is really only one build for healers/tanks, as most of their skills are generic, non-class skills. Things like orbs, combat prayer, and healing springs will be on every healer build, just like chains, pierce armor, and heroic slash are on every tank build. Elemental Blockade and Warhorn are staples for both. That's literally half your build right there. Sets are usually group specific and the list of "should haves" for each role is excessive, but easier ones like SPC and Powerful Assault are still quite popular for healer and tank respectively.

Altough i main necro and like very much the stamina version, i think Magicka Warden is strong than ever because the New 12 % damage with Frost staff and now the animal passives gives critical instead of penetration and the sustain is really easy to manage. But like i said, necromancer for me is the best class, my build is almost similar to yours, but instead of carve i prefer the skeleton Archer and instead of stampede i choose foward momentum ( 40 sec skill, major brutality with 20% spell and weapon damage, Minor endurance with 15% stam recovery and you can escape some types of group controls attacks and become immune for 4 seconds).
@@rudiboss7989 stamina version, it's best option for both group and solo content, If Focus only in solo content then definitely stamina version. Of course, i assuming you are gonna play dps, because tank and healer use many skills in magicka.
I haven't played in a year or 2, but I don't ever remember seeing Archer stam Warden recommended... Yet I used to find that this build used to *always* top the damage & kill/death ratio charts in PvP by a huge margin.
Stamblade rotation has said, "Spammable is Killer’s Blade at 25% and below or if we are fighting 3 or more enemies" and "Swap out Killer’s Blade for Whirling Blade when you need more Single Target damage, such as during a parse or boss fight with no ads," For quite a while now.
Hey there. Very informative video. I went with guardian at first but I am loving the magika sorc. However, i am indecisive on which spells to use. I currently use wrath, curse, tormentor and surge.
Good stuff man. With the bonuses to shock damage for sorcs I just don't see any reason to run anything other than the lightning HA build. Honestly I'm not convinced that the meta parsing build is better at all except for final bosses. Even then you don't have any of the buffs you get from the trial dummy. I'm still putting a trial set together so maybe I don't know wth I'm talking about haha.
I hate running double sorc pets. You sacrifice too much utility and aoe cleave. What good is having a meta damage build if you or your pets can't stay alive.
@@davidb3155 I don't run pets either, they're weak af. Better off adding fighters guild for damage or inner light and bound aegis for the mag increase. Plus they're just annoying on the screen
Sorc HA build all the way. I test constantly to maximise damage efficiently. On the trial dummy, serg, storm ,slime with pets, wall and aegis gives me the most damage. Aegis does more then prey due to the magic scaling of pets and heavyset. Normal content, use skoiria and ele sus. This gives me 47.6 rit and 9k pen. My sweet spot for damage. I've tested with more pen and with more crit. This is the best for me. Wiith pets on damage, wall, ele sus and ward I melt all bosses. Solo vhm dungeons with ease. Cheers.
@@DarkSorc7 lately I've been alternating destro clench with haunting curse, it works pretty nice. Recasting haunting after the first pop. Curse, HA, Clench, HA, Curse, HA, Clench etc. When you do this the icon timer is a little bit buggy but it does work, you do not have to cast curse a 2nd time
Mag would be a bit easier to start if you new to the game Stamblade is a bit harder to play but more fun . I started with Stamina and it was really more fun to play for me than Magblade
i'm not sure what is happening but i have problems with magick sustain on stam dk, for trials i change volatile armor to eruption and that just kills my sustain. i'm not sure if i need to be using it every other rotation or i'm just doing something wrong. i've looked at other builds and they also use it.
I’m having trouble making barbed trap work. I feel like whenever I drop it the enemies never move close enough to activate it. I swapped to Race Against Time for Minor Force but that gives up some dps. Any advice on using that skill right?
MagPlar. I call mine "The Immortal" because if there's something to hit I literally cannot die. MagPlar selfhealing is out of control, even post Sweeps nerf.
kinda makes me sad the only difference between stamina or magicka right now is if your sta it's nirn/rele if it's magicka it's nirn/whorl. No matter the class really XD
I've felt that way about classes long before hybridization. Stam vs. mag didn't really matter to me when the difference was Arrow Barrage or Unstable Wall, both being mid-sized 10-second ground-based AoEs. Or using Poison Injection instead of Destructive Reach. A different name doesn't make a different skill to me.

I am by no means an "elite" player. I have played almost every mmo under the sun. I do have a bad wrist from being ran over by an suv. That being said, I don't see why everyone considers/says nightblade is hard. I am still technically "new". Been playing off and on for years, never past 40. Nightblade has been the easiest to play by far. Light weaving is easy. It's just skill, la, skill, la. I am a mediocre player and NB has been a breeze.
the hard part imo is keeping up the sometimes complicated rotation, especially if you're not used to mmos like i am. i get caught up in the rotation i sometimes forget to switch to killer's blade. that and early game sustain
Parent’s definitely have favorites, I’m my moms only child n she gives me anything and everything always answers the phone now my dad… I’m he’s 1st born of 5… I think.. n he went out for bread… you know the story lol.
not impressed by 'fake healer' comment. got kicked too many times by crappy dps players with zero armor in hard content. too much bitching in group dungeons nowadays. every 2nd one the tank, the healer, or the dps is getting criticised.

I'm kinda new to the game, wouldn't you do whirling blade for multiple targets and keep killers blade for just one?

Just drop it under the feet of the boss it will work 100%. If it is not just kite enemy towards the trap, but usually it will work

They can play any class you like either stamina or magicka, stamina templar or magicka sorc = easy mode most content
Knightblade is very difficult to learn and to play and to get the right armor for the right role.
Top builds is the one you are good at.
