Just wanted to take a minute to say happy December and thank you so much for watching and commenting and being here!! This year has been a bit of a journey for us, and we're so grateful for your support. Also, if you happen to be shopping for the holidays and like any of the items in the video, here are some things featured in the video that we can wholeheartedly recommend (and would be amazing gifts for anyone nerdy like us): - Keychron K4 Pro mechanical keyboard - after a ton of research + personally trying out the eight final contenders, we've decided this is the ultimate keyboard. We each have one: amzn.to/48c4hXv - the LEGO grand piano (still in stock here amzn.to/41fQWvj or backordered on LEGO bit.ly/eggybricks-lego) is a weird and underrated set that was expensive for its time ($399). But it's an incredible melding of form and function, and is the set that got us truly obsessed with LEGO for the first time. (Also comes with a train hub! which we've turned into an elevator) - The Way Things Work ($14.67 with coupon) is a delightful explanation of how everything in the world works, from a woolly mammoth. It's kind of like LEGO (in that it's perfect for children and adults) amzn.to/3uVUtTg - (Or if you want to know a LOT about how your body works, Bruce Alberts' Molecular Biology of the Cell, 7th edition (2022) is probably his last edition and therefore the best textbook that will ever exist. And if you've read it please talk to us!!: amzn.to/3Nn4NtX ) Any (like, any) purchases made after clicking these links will contribute to the channel and support more LEGO citybuilding! (Also FYI for keyboard nerds V uses the Akko Lavender Purples and M uses the Outemu Silent Yellow Jades (V says yuck)) ❤
This is a very impressive model, but can we also talk about how good the presentation of this video is too? It looks like a project you would spend a whole semester working on for a university class! Excellent content
At about 7:40 It was really cool to see the time lapse build of the tunnel. Seen the shape squish and flex a bit was really satisfying. It helps showcase the medium of Lego being used which I think of so consistently as such a rigid structure. By the end it all comes together so clean, strong, and looks like it snaps right into place!
Another amazing eggybricks video! Love seeing your design and planning process and the results look great. Also, one thing I really love about your two's approach to LEGO is the conscious effort to aim for an aesthetic that brings just enough detail without distracting from the fun bricky-ness of LEGO.
I've yet to see any Lego sets that feature OSHA supervisors, and there's no Lego brick that cites any building codes, so those stairs are canonically safe to use. 😂 overall it looks amazing so far and I can't wait to see the next update!
Holy moly!!! Instant subscribe. This is so incredibly well-thought out. I love how you try to make the city as livable as possible for the minifigs, the bike lane made me especially happy. Super excited to see where this goes!!!
I appreciate how much planning went into this and the practical considerations that were given towards how minifigs would actually inhabit the city vs. just plopping down some modulars and calling it a day. It's also nice that you went into detail on how the different infrastructural elements were designed and constructed. Lastly, I think it's neat you hinted towards your own custom city lore with the mystery tunnel. Of all the LEGO city concepts and videos I've come across this is one of the more promising ones. I will def be looking out for more updates and ideas to steal for my own future hypothetical LEGO city :)
I love everything about this, and that border ties it all in so well. Love that you're also considering wheelchair (etc.) users with the lift and drop kerbs. As others have said, how are you not getting more attention?! All your videos have been great, can't wait for the next update.
wow. this is exactly how id always picture a lego city being built. i think its the optimal way to go about making it both realistic and still fun and made for the figures. also, most importantly, cohesive and scaled well ! definitely looking forward to the next releases
Your explanation about MILS technique was so simple and easy to understand! I have heard this term a lot, but until now I didn't know what did mean, especially because English is not my native language, not even my third I would say. I hope you get the most of fun of building your city! n_n
I clicked so fast! Love this channel. You folks need more traction and visibility. Lego is so addictive. And takes up so so much space but I can't quit it.
oh VERY exciting! This looks super fun! If you need supports in the Back, and wanna get some more bricks by cannibalizing in future, I presume maybe Duplo might work? But it might clash with the look too much? Not sure, REALLY adoring this!
This was great well thought out and well produced content. Im a huge lego fan with my own city (9x4 1/2 baseplate footprint). I struggle to find high quality lego content but this looks like its hitting all the right notes and its a breath of fresh air hearing from other women builders, i think ill rewatch this episode and then the series as it grows with my partner, she doesnt build aswell but appreciates the art of it. Best of luck with it! Looking foward to more! 👭👏
got to say not a lot of other creators put THIS amount of effort into everything about a video/project, i love this!!! i cant wait to see where this goes!!
Omg this is amazing can't wait for updates! Btw in places where you can't see them you could use duplo bricks, they fit, are sturdier, and you could buy them used for cheap!
I was immediately captivated by this video! I really love the lens through which you're approaching a LEGO city build, and I'm super excited to see what comes next.
You just earned a subscriber. I really like your style and the idea of building a completely custom LEGO city build is a dream of mine (if I ever get the time). Definitely going to follow this build!
This is really amazing work as always! I really enjoy these type of LEGO cities where you get really creative and work around space restrictions (instead of having huge LEGO cities in dedicated rooms and basements etc.) I can't wait to see the rest of this series!
Thanks so much for the kind words!! Nothing against huge cities - they're very impressive - there just probably doesn't need to be more videos of people who have more LEGO than most of us
You are amazing! Creatives, talented and well planning, and the production of it, is some of the best you can find on TH-cam. Without a doubt the best Lego channel on the internets! Looking forward watching this city grow and follow the progress. Keep it up! Eggybricks rulez!
i love the textures you gave to all of the builds!! excited to see how the city develops. love the video quality, hope your channel gets picked up by the algorithm more!
A good alternative for road surfaces are alternate rows of 2x1 plate modifieds and 1x1 plates with semi-circular 1x1 tiles placed diagonally on top of them. This gives a cobbled road surface. Austrian master builder Bob Brickman uses this technique to spectacular effect.
It'd be a lot of extra work, but if you ever want to recover those colorful bricks from behind the wall, you could sub in some duplo! They're cheaper and more space efficient, very structurally stable too
I have eagerly been awaiting this video! The projects that you two work on are so cool and it's an incredible challenge to make your own city completely from scratch. I'm already excited for episode 2 in this series! However long that takes I know it will be worth it. Cheers!
Just came across your guys’ channel and it’s amazing!!! The content is literally made for peeps like me in creating Lego cities and thank you so much for the ideas, smooth video editing, and putting realism instead of just buying more Lego modules!
I'm super excited for this! It was really inspiring watching your ninjago MOC video, I love the potential of small buildings that you have and I'm trying to create more of that in my city, so I can't wait to see how this unfolds. :)
Your videos are so so good. Maybe this thumbnail needs a little more flair to catch people’s eyes? Your content is so well produced I’d put it in my top 5 Lego youtubers for sure
Your design is inspiring me. Ive recently moved so i have to rebuild my lego ity from, basically scratch, and i dont exactly have the space some lego youtubers do, i have to fit the display in my bedroom (which, thankfully, is larger now than it was). Its supposed to be a city based on space themes, so i was already going to build vertical, but the tiered design youve shown inspires me, since not only can i make it look more interesting than a flat plane like this, but i can maximize space by building some overhangs.
Thanks so much, and thanks for the patience haha! We’re hoping to release this series on a very regular schedule but it’s so hard to resist the urge to film one more thing

Can't wait to see how this develops. Hopefully the algorithm gives you a break and this series gets you two the attention your channel deserves!
And so it shall.
Hi! I came here via the algorithm ✌️
The algorithm brought me here
🖤💙💜💙🖤
The production value of this channel is just through the roof
Thanks so much!! We started this channel partly to learn how to shoot and edit so it’s really nice to hear that you like it!
This is a very impressive model, but can we also talk about how good the presentation of this video is too? It looks like a project you would spend a whole semester working on for a university class! Excellent content
Thanks so much!! We’re trying really hard to make these good, so it’s really nice to hear that you like it!
This is my dream lego layout, just so thoughtfully put together!
I love the rainbow stairs and the protected bike lane sm!
"Canonically this goes to the next city"
Guess it's time to knock a hole in the wall... lol
Very much looking forward to everything regarding this project! :)

The rainbow stairs are awesome!
I am so here for this. Your videos have such a fantastic chill vibe.
I've yet to see any Lego sets that feature OSHA supervisors, and there's no Lego brick that cites any building codes, so those stairs are canonically safe to use. 😂 overall it looks amazing so far and I can't wait to see the next update!
Eggybricks stands for quality over quantity, thank you for that! Great video.
Love the way you're elevating the back row. I might have to steal this idea for my limited display area as well
Please do!!
Love the focus on great active transit infrastructure! Looks very @NotJustBikes compatible! 🚴♀🚶
......your Lego city is more accessible than where I actually live lol T-T
You guys are fantastic and severely underrated, keep up the excellent work!
Thanks so much!!
Holy moly!!! Instant subscribe. This is so incredibly well-thought out. I love how you try to make the city as livable as possible for the minifigs, the bike lane made me especially happy. Super excited to see where this goes!!!
Thanks so much!!
Your production quality has increased tenfold (not that it was by any means bad before). Can’t wait to see how this goes, you two are great!

Just LOVED the idea of buinding a completely custom Lego City! And your ideas are just amazing!!! LOVED IT!!!
Thanks so much!!
Great video! Excited to see how the city grows
You guys have my favourite Lego channel by far, always happy when I see you’ve uploaded!
This is an amazing topic for a video - I’ve debated for a while about what scale of builds to make for my figs.
Been too long since I've seen your work on TH-cam.
Fantastic as always. Can't wait for your next update.

Thanks so much!! And yes we have the same problem as you can tell...

I love discovering small lego channels like you and hopefully the TH-cam algorithm makes you justice!
You earned my sub, huge love 😁!
whoa! awesome
but I gotta admit, seeing some of those plates bend… hurts
Alright, the algorithm needs some work. This is amazing!

Great video. And what a load of bricks to built all those elevations.
Fantastic city! Looking great so far
Can't wait for the next episode!
This was genuinely super interesting and really well edited. Cant wait to see what happens next!
Amazing work ❤
Hey, for a future idea. Consider Using LEGO Duplo for pillars for the elevated section in the future.
Love the videos, keep up the great work, Hopefully the uploads are a little more frequent but the quality is incredible. Cant wait for the train video
Thanks so much, and thanks for the patience haha! We’re hoping to release this series on a very regular schedule but it’s so hard to resist the urge to film one more thing
This is a really high quality video. Awesome job on the city so far!
For raising the back Bygglek make a lego compatible box's ideal for that purpose and would save a ton of lego pieces.
Woah just discovered your channel and not even through the video yet but I’m in love
cant wait to see the next one! This is a super epic idea and definitely a unique lego city!
So excited to find this channel! Can’t wait to see the train station!!
Ok, so when is the next video in the LEGO city series coming out, I am dying to see what you do next!
Aaand …subscribed.
Love the way you explain the planning phase, can’t wait for the for the next video.
