    what is the difference between a direct credit and standing order?

      Hi Cesar,
      A direct debit is when a bill amount (phone bill, electricity etc) is automatically taken from your account for payment. The amount can vary as the bill cost changes from month to
      Month.
      A standing order is payment/transfer of funds which is scheduled by you to pay someone like a landlord. This usually stays at the same amount.
