The last year was the best we had. Of course at the moment everything seemed so perfect and bright, life throws us the curveball of cancer. Within a month of being diagnosed he was gone. Devastation dose not begin to explain how I feel. At his funeral I somehow keept it together. At the end of the service they were playing the traditional music, and all that was good, but I got up and told the director that we are changing it up a bit. And suddenly "Stuck like Glue" was playing loud throughout the building. I danced and sang with my sweet love once last time. The room was filled with absolute joy! It was such a moment we got, I don't have words to describe. Of course there were a few traditional old church ladies that got up and left. I kindly thanked them for comming. And I kindly thank "Sugarland" for this and all your music. You brought life back to me just enough to keepe going. THANK YOU!!!
