- These DIY room decor projects were so much fun to make! The best part? They only cost a few dollars and look absolutely stunning! These would be a perfect addition to a Modern Boho decor theme. With the amazing deal we got on the wood from Hobby Lobby, we knew we had to put it to good use. Between Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby, we were able to make some really amazing DIYs for a fraction of what you would pay in a retail store. WELCOME BACK! I Would recommend putting some paper on the floral foam to cover it first. Some of it can be nasty when it comes in contact with certain types of spray paint, but that is a good tip.

Just a tip that I've learned from Liz Fenwick, you can place a piece of painters or masking tape on the back of what you're hanging and place marks on the tape where your hangers are.. Then, remove the tape and place it on the wall so that your nails end up exactly where you need to them to hang your picture or whatever you're hanging 😁

Great projects and great results! The candle holders at the end I had to pause the video for a min and I was thinking I hope the Mrs sprayed them in gold. I came back turned on the video and they were sprayed in gold. They look awesome and those size candles in red would be awesome at Christmas with simple greenery at the base.
From October thru April 1stbi have been packing yo my mom's house of 31 years all by myself and still working a FT job but the actual week of the moving truck j took off a week. I moved from a 3 large bedroom house of 2659 square feet to a condo (rent with the option to buy) 610 SQ FT. I donated much of my belongings to keep my mom's for sentimental purpose and if my brother ever gets out of rehab from a job injury he may like some of my mom's things. I am overwhelmed with trying to find a place for everything and organization needs to be a priority. Your plank/boards gave me a super idea to make my own cup rack holders. I have a mug collection but, I also use all my mugs but with smaller cabinet space and less counter, a mug tree would not work but I have decent wall space. The wood grain is awesome on those boards. And you dressed all up with class too. I absolutely love the pencil holder plant holder plaque. Upside down they remind me of lights on the outside of a boat. I think somehow you could make a light plaque using them. If you wanted a rustic look tiy could stay them silver.
Years ago when my mom was on her mile walk she found on a curb this nice oak box with 2 shelf like areas in it. The outside had a removable slide plank with a green earth in it and a brown vine. I cannot recall the wording on the box but she knew I was the creator of reusing wooden items. I have never done anything with the box. It is about 5 inches wide and a little over 2 ft long. I googled it to see what it was from and a bottle of wine came in it with 2 globlets. Your tray idea gave me an idea. With the top of the box I want to make a tray and I think I will hang the box on the wall with the open side facing out in the bathroom. I have a medicine cabinet and that's it. A fancy pedestal sink. Where the little shelf like cubbies are in the wooden box I can make it into a shelf. One cubbie with a little jar of Q tips, one shelf soaps in paper, etc. I think that would look cool. I loved all your projects and I am glad you are back.
