I've read a lot of people, saying that auditors cause issues and only film to get a rise. Not so, these companies cause issues before cameras were put into phones, auditors now just show this for the world to see which can make a company better from public pressure
They were clearly encouraging the drivers to filter in on both sides of their access road. In actual fact every vehicle that made that illegal right turn committed at least 3 offences all worth 3 penalty points each. 1st was queuing on hatched area/turning area for oncoming traffic, 2nd was going right of a keep left sign, 3rd again going right of a keep left sign on the entrance road.
Love your videos you are usually informative and entertaining but you're also socially responsible reporting land grabs and in this case dodgy driving. Great stuff Ace keep up the fine work
Can we summon him? Maybe if we call out his name three times, while looking into a mirror in a dark room? No, hang on, that's the Dark Lady I believe? Hmm.
It is an Amazon problem and they should sort it asap but the manager was quite receptive to the issue and proactively dealt with it - good on him. A good ambassador for Amazon. Fascinating to see them all loading - like worker ants!! A nice video and loving the new MiRider!
I worked for amazon in a call center... We had so many cases of drivers stealing good it was so often we used to just resend the item... Most never got prosecuted just sacked "becouse apparently it paints the company in bad light" lol 😮😊
The roads in Ipswich have become considerably more congested and dangerous since a large Amazon depot opened here!!! You only need to look at the battered vans to judge!
Well done ACE! There is a simple solution but as a corporation Amazon would find it below themselves to worry about or implement a cure for such matters. Our local incinerator opens its gates at 7.30am. To enter your vehicle is registered on their ANPR, as you approach the barrier the camera recognizes your number plate and the barrier raises to let you in. If anyone gets there before 7.30am and waits roadside for the gate to open they will receive an Email saying that they have been seen on cctv waiting on the road and if it happens again their vehicle may be banned from the site. No one waits as if they get removed from the system they cant make a living! I am sure all those vans have to be registered on an Amazon system to allow them enter and to load up with items. Looking at them all it is a shame to think that all the goods they are carrying would once have been in shops on the high St! Keep up the great work, top Auditor!
To answer the question of how many parcels do Amazon drivers have or is it based on weight - it used to be based on the value of goods up to a limit of £25k. Most sub/urban routes are between 250 - 300 parcels and are meant to take no longer than 9hrs with an unpaid 30 min break. Unfortunately Amazon flog their drivers to exhaustion every day to the point of exploitation as to complete their routes within their timeframe requires working at a frantic pace which is unsafe and dangerous to the public who share the roads of Amazon vans flying around cutting corners to save valuable time.
Great local reporting, I bet this happens all the time, wonder what time this was? They clearly know about it (as he said) but they just muddy the water (its not me its them) Good to hear they are looking to improve.
Hmm, that's a tough one. They are meant to be keeping left there, but it looks like they're doing it to try and _not_ block traffic. It's hard to see the purpose of that keep left when it would make more sense to have a contiguous right turn lane, and it's rather curious that there's not a matching keep left when going the other way. Looks like the road design is the real problem there.
It looks as if the problem is caused by Amazon dividing the lanes into left and right to speed up traffic. It means they have to be in one lane when they enter and then split. The split should be via a small roundabout further into the site.
Fair play, they seemed to listen, 'seemed' lol I was collared by police myself many years ago as young driver for parking near a junction and directly in line with a lined out strip. I was told that they are in effect a painted traffic island and should not be driven over or parked alongside of the road they inhabit as it forces cars to then drive over the painted island strips. They separate the traffic and direct to give a safe route etc. Maybe things have changed as I no longer choose to drive 🤔 You can see a small solid island on the drone footage with the painted island continuing away from it. The vans are breaking so many. highway code rules and laws. Parking in yellow lines and pavements (pavement parking is one of my triggers, thoughtless for kids, prams, disabled, blind etc) yet I'm the bad guy if I ever dare mentiom it to the pavement parkers, I could understand more on a tight street with no parking anf going the pavement a little bit but quite a few do already have drives and literally take up all the pavement. makes me 🤬🤬🤬 They just CBA, I've reported one to to the police they tell me it's local council issues, local council tell me it's a police issue 🙄 We need some proper laws that are then enforced. People and businesses will still do what they want to save time and energy.
You are doing a fantastic job telling them about what there drivers are doing which might cause accident. The expression's on there faces were comical nice one...🥺😏👍🌹💐
Amazon in general are extremely open and transparent, they've had a lot of stick based on envy and conspiracy (I've mentioned it in one of my videos about pee breaks). The security guard must be so frustrated not bring allowed to be too bossy.
That really is dreadful and clearly sanctioned by Amazon. Of course you could report the traffic offenses but I think all that would do is get the drivers fined and a few points. From what I understand Amazon give their drivers a really shit deal so perhaps that's not the best plan.
With the *Police and local authorities,* being so eager to earn money off current traffic violations and parking offences.. They could earn a wedge from these guys. Through fines etc.. tee hee!!
Having to put a name on a piece if paper just to soeak to management is rubbish. They probably just wanted to get a name. The funny thing though is they have no clue if that name is lagit or not. 😅😅😅😅
how can they charge on street parking, where is the council parking notice, as well as that, is that sign legal size, does not show or say, where it starts and stops, are there marking for that parking, i think thats illegal, but im not a parking warden, just lived in london, certain laws apply
So, it’s been raised a few times and yet nothing has been done about it. So basically, right? Sloping shoulders, couldn’t care less. Send the footage with reg. numbers to the police.
Excellent vid. Getting footage and highlights a real problem. The main guy was ok but will he do anything constructive? The first guy was making it 'his' business a bit too much but not too bad. Good content
Amazon are responsible for this behaviour. The vans being used are on their behalf. The drivers don’t deserve to have a licence. Where’s the law when there is a law being broken - probably stopping a law abiding citizen with a camera. 😅
That is Amazon's fault. They have introduced a split traffic lane after the entrance and there is no way to go to the right if they enter the correct way. That is why they break traffic laws. They should refuse and Amazon is causing a H&S breach for which they may be liable if there is an accident.
Typical in passing the buck get the police to send someone there and record all the vans breaking the law and slap them with a fine and talk to Amazon about their drivers.
Just cause your work places implements a way of working doesnt mean its legal and doesn't mean your not responsible for your actions on the roads where the traffic police they would have a field day down here collecting all those tickets fees
Amazon are one company that don't allow electric vehicles on the property unless they are amazon approved vehicles due to liability of the vehicles and fire risk to the property the amazon lawyers have said they can refuse staff members to bring electric vehicles on to the property
Amazon do usually offer guided tours, council really needs to get rid of that little island. This warehouse has a number online. The van drivers get far too much to do. The story of how Amazon started is quite an endearing watch.
Friend works at the job centre and told me they fast track them to sia to avoid the narrative they are here for benefits ect, loads on government projects doing nothing, hs2 has about 10x what they need in security.

100% ❤️⭐
Our ACE not only films, but also takes action against abuses.
What a personality.
It makes me more than proud.
And I don't even live in Great Britain.
As I said before,,if Amazon says you can not film,,ask why did Amazon sell the camera to me then?
You need to contact the County Council Highways Dept and local Police to advise them to take remedial action imo.
Will see how it looks when I go back 😊
The lady has balls bless her!! Keep it up hun😂❤

Fairly standard for an Amazon depot.
Auditor like ace exposing tyrant's.

well done...ace.
Very pleasant interaction, but Amazon are too big to give a toss about any complaints.
Until a pesky TH-camr comes along and exposes their wrongdoings to the world 😂
LOL @ anyone saying the vans are independent when it has the company logos slapped on the side.

Looks like two infractions on the public highway. Wrong side of the traffic island on the main road and then wrong side just outside Gate 1. Shocking.
Oops forgot to mention great video Ace lol.... But the drivers breaking rules doesn't surprise me at all lol
Anyone with any sense would split the 2 lanes at entrance to take the back log away, I see that happening now after i wrote this
95% of the vans were Amazon owned. Also why is a security manager wearing his badge the wrong way round. At least he was willing to listen. Nice audit
I apologise, it wasn’t an SIA badge in his hi-vis

What is the correct noun for a group of delivery drivers, over paid if they're not delivering ha.
So, Amazon wants your name *and date of birth* just to enter their premises. That's over-reach.
Yeah totally. Hope they enjoyed my fake name lol
