Ash, brother, I built my Fenax with the regular Arena in mind (Live one didn't exist back then), when you released a mini-guide, or made the comment on a previous video, about having him on Avenging. Since not always your opponents are going to be dealing crits (support dudes, for example), and my Avenging kit didn't cut it for a good build (yeah, this detail as well), I ended up *building him with the regular Retaliation set.* And works wonders, and I got the idea... *from you sir!* -- Ps - Weird problem: He doesn't always block revive when killing someone with his A1. At first I thought it was because he was Ally Attacking (w/Nekhret for ex), but nope, he just fails sometimes /Shrug 😞
Lady Kimi guide or Elder Skarg guide where you first use him in a tanky build to CC waves and another build where you use him as a nuker preferably in live arena. He can one shot anyone in the game and I think he can also counter UDK but I'm not sure.
I got him setup as a damage dealer (CDmg gaunts, etc), and ACC (just enough), for all Hydra levels, annnd... in Relentless. Results so far are fantastic. Places HP Burn, then if you get an extra turn you go and extend that duration while dishing out some smacks. Hope this idea I used helps you mate, have a good one!
Will you do an teodor build? Maybe even suggest a possible cb team with champs the basic player should be able to get such as login champs, starters, or free champs?
I have a build u can use. Regen/immortal hp% chest with spd acc sub stats, spd boots with acc sub and as much hp and defence u can get. Gloves can be hp or defence with spd and acc subs. I hope this helps
I built my teodor the savant with regen set and defiant set. He has nice regen because he has lots of health, and defiant set helps with the 15% damage reduction against aoe attacks. (which every bosses have that, and sometimes on waves) He is very tanky and has lots of accuracy and speed. I use him for clan boss also, paired with frozen banshee. Since he activates her poisons, I often end up with 30 million damage just on frozen banshee in nightmare clan boss.

Still hoping for a Anax video He’s got two hard hitting multi hit attacks and a massive single hit attack with a 6x attack multiplier and he comes with all the essential debuffs for most dungeons and bosses and he doesn’t believe in weak affinity
I'll need to upgrade him, I have cardiel and fahrakin for the ally attack for high combo bursts. Also I have kymar to reset those cooldowns, to combo even more.
either build her in regen set or in stun set... at least 70K HP and 3K def and 220 speed with 350 accuracy... now you have a Visix that you can use everywhere... or if you have good enough savage gear, she's good in that too... depends on where you need her...

Hey ash, thanks for the guide. to be honest, i will not use him in pvp since I dont have a decent ally attack champ and he doesnt fit well in my team anywhere. I get that fenax has block revive for ice golem, but he is also the weak affinity to him. How much much does that factor in?

Switched all my hydra champs from crushing rend and brimstone to hero soul except for 1 aoe champ with cruelty. heros sould out damages crushing rend and even at 6 star.
you wont have the damage in that build to kill anything on the meta teams, just use savage, if you want to really make use of him, hes best with ally attack like cardiel or counter attack with nekret or valk, but that builds not killing anyone
Hi, Ash! Thanks for the great video. I’m curious though, correct me if I’m mistaken but as far as the blessing goes I don’t think the ignore defense scales as much as expressed in the video. Based on my understanding, at the highest lvl of crushing rend 1% for each 10 lvl’s on the average pvp opponent is only about 6% of defense ignored whereas (unless mistaken) cruelty reduces defense by 4% per hit with a max of 40% cumulative that the rest of your group can take advantage of. I also believe that your Cupidus had such a significant increase in damage from the change because of the increase to his crit dmg and atk stats on top of the increase of ignored defense providing a more consistent increase in damage per hit rather than whenever brimstone eventually procs. If I’m wrong please explain cause I’m curious to know.
Your almost correct. Not 100% accurate to the stats as it is higher then what your stating. Saph has a great video bout it.. ima try find it after this video and will reply
Fenax is fun and probably has 50 or moree guides on him across the universe... You are right, no hope guides because why do a champ that hh calls trash. Hope is a moped. Really fun to ride but you wouldn't tell your friends about it. That being said, why not step off the beaten path and give us a guide for hope. And while you're at it, STITCHED BEAST.

I really don’t understand the avenging set…. He will most likely die before getting to counter. Even if he gets picked back up, it won’t counter after. Seems like a bad choice other than for possibly PvE.
He needs Nekhret for the protection and ally attack, Savage gear/no accuracy. That set up is OP. This build is.. lacking damage Ash. Ignore def is king. This set isn’t good for him because he’s an easy one shot in the live arena, soon as he gets crits he will die lol.

Please don't build any champ with this gear set.. Savage or Lethal or nothing. You will smash low player and get destroyed by everybody else. That's what you want ? Follow this guide.

curious - does a savage & retaliation build seem good? figure it adds extra damage and since retaliation is a 2pc now it's a nice add-on

RAID changed the Avenging Sets to Counterattack when a debuff was landed on your Champion and took out the critical hit condition
Well, using avenging set assumes the critical hit doesn't kill Fenax. Which is not obvious, he's the type of guy every rare can one shot :-)
Got to give him either Def or hp ring. Just too squishy otherwise.

You should update this letting players know the Avenging set was changed to 45% chance to counter attack when receiving debuff.
Ally attack him with Aili, Aili removes all buffs with his A1 and Fenax comes through for the kill. So good!
