Project Hail Mary was Sarah’s 1st pick too! Wonderful story 🎉
Andy Weir is the best. So glad you picked that!
Just finished The Light Pirate by Lily Brooks-Dalton. It was great. Slow paced, but hard to put down! ❤📚📚❤️
Blake crouches Wayward Pine series is SO good- highly recommend!
Love love love Fahrenheit 451!!!! It’s a dystopian, so I would say yes to being futuristic.
F451 is still futuristic, speculative fiction. Bradbury liked to set his works 100 years in the future, and F451 was published in 1953. So, 2053 would be the setting. This is one of the novels I teach in my classroom every year, and I love it! Highly recommend!
Great book! I love Ray Bradbury’s works. When I taught M.S., we read “All Summer In a Day” and “A Sound of Thunder”. Both also set in the future.
I have off in the summer, but considered getting a part time job. I decided that since my daughter only has three years of high school left that I was not going to work and we were going to spend our days doing what we want to do.
I recommend “The Girl with All the Gifts” by M R Carey. It’s a dystopian and I really enjoyed it.
