Rick is like me. Flamboyant obnoxious and a party animal. But deep inside there are alot of insecurities hauting us. What ever accomplishments we ever made seems petty and small in our eyes. @@mrentertainment4923 Oh, come on! Childhood trauma. People just hang on all the bad stuff that happens to them like a crutch these days. Which is exactly what Ric Flair DID NOT DO. He took whatever pain he had and lived his life to the fullest. He didn't spend his time feeling sorry for himself.
@@DannyGautama On one of his podcasts from late 2022 Ric Flair said that JR lost all credibility with him because (if I'm not mistaken) JR said Flair doesn't know the difference between who he is as a person from who he is as a character.
I think it shows just how much he appreciates what people think of him and his career. God Ric would cry if you asked him the time lol. He's still the man
2007 was a so so year for Ric as he wasn’t part of the main card at Wrestlemania that year so for JR and Dusty to give him that boost of confidence again with their kind words was probably why Ric was so emotional during the speeches
Great American wrestler of all time. HBK comes very close, but nobody had the longevity that Flair did. Just look at the incredible amount of promotions he worked under from the early 70s to early 90s. That's 20 years of just being the best in the USA, non-stop grind. He then wrestled for another 20 more years, there's just no doubt in my mind Flair is the greatest American wrestler of all time.
I just get the vibe that despite how he acts on screen or in the ring, Ric Flair is just a really good dude. Idk much about him other than he’s kind of a douche in old promos and stuff (I haven’t seen him recently at all) 😂 but no one is gonna get as emotional as this guy gets over the things people say about him if he didn’t have a good heart.
Man everytime i hear this mans voice I immediately get goosebumps and feel like a 10 year old again im only 22 so this man literally commented on every WWE match I ever saw in my whole life
What JR said is a bit misleading at best. He said that he left Cowboy Bill Watts to go work for Jim Crockett's promotion. The truth is that JCP bought out the UWF (formerly known as Mid-south) - Bill Watts' promotion, in mid-1987, and Jim Ross was naturally absorbed into JCP as most of the UWF employees were. So it isn't like Jim Ross really made the choice to leave Bill Watts' promotion for Jim Crockett's promotion.
Yes Ric. The 3 same moves you did in every match, AMAZING! The way you exposed yourself in public. All the times Vince had to pay your back taxes. To all the people you stole money from....you should cry.
i think real reallll fans understand why ric was the best in the 80s / 90s cause he had it all he would wrestle talk and live the life style and hes still here now... hulk is a broken mess finaniclly and mentally and body cause of health, his son and blah blah blah and everyone else is dead. ric is gonna have such a strong tribute when he goes. yes hes done some bad things but in order to live and thrive in life you have to cross that line otherwise ur saying what if
