Max Johnson was just eight when he was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, a crippling disease that affects the heart muscle. He waited seven months for a heart transplant and was ready to die before his life was saved by nine-year-old Keira Ball, whose organs were donated after she died in a car accident. Now, thanks to Max and Keira’s story, the rules on organ donation in England have changed and consent to donate will be presumed unless people have opted out as of next year. The change will be known as Max and Keira’s Law, and we’re joined by Max (now eleven) and his mum, as well as Keira’s parents Joe and Loanna Ball to talk about how thousands of lives will be saved.

How does this video have no comments with 99000 views, seems like a pretty contentious law that society seems to continuously debate on ?
The poor kid looked sad and far away in his thoughts.
