Thanks for ur explanation and teaching, I’ve been out of Ghana for 31yrs and my wife is from Russia Moscow. We live in US with our 4children and never visited Ghana bf, they r always denied coming to Africa but now for some reason they r all pushing to come to Ghana and they now even know more about Nana Addo and his government. I promised them next year summer so I can complete our own house. I’ve got a land in East Legon hill gated community, but my contractor was suggesting to do Bio, but after watching ur video I will go by the old way. How can I tell my family not to leave their waist tissues in the toilet bowl to flash.. thank u so much for saving me. For a very long time of 31yrs I never leave waist tissues outside. 🙏🏼
Make sure since you add the two rows of blocks, you have wholes to drain out the excess rainwater, or it will create problems not to settle in there! But it looks good love it! That is what I will be using for my house! Keep up the excellent work! I am looking forward to seeing the finishing! Thanks for sharing! Shalom
Great job but in my own opinion, i prefer the septic tank being same level with the floor, it's not necessary to make it come up, it make the compound look leveled and nice, bide the way, it only takes many years to empty the septic tank, so the advantages of burying the septic tank inside is greater than the convenience disadvantage of making it easy to be emptied
I like septic tanks over bidigesters. Septictanks are tried, tested and true. Biodigester is new and and yet to prove itself. You have created a swimming pool by raising the manhole, worse off, an eye sore. Better to have it the same level with the grading.
I don't understand how the top sticking out makes it hard to use. I intend to even bury mine. I added more enforcement to make it usable space. Just making the open hole stick out is enough for inspection. The actual manhole doesn't need to show.
I disagree with you because when the manhole has the same level of that of the house and there's rainfall you can imagine what will happen to your manhole
@@kennethnyavor3468 you seem to have misread what I wrote. The opening is not to be buried. Many real estate builds go with that approach. Only the opening shows up with a raised wall... making the rest of the space usable. Read the part about the "open hole" sticking out.
I choose biodigestor over septic tank base on the fact that when the man hole filled up and you need to drain it, then you will see what I am talking about.
@@sweetbadd9852 it is true. Personally, burning used tissue is more convenient compared to the hassle you will go through when septic tank is full up. I have gone through it so I know what I am talking about.
@@kwakuasiedu4935You are most welcome. I had planned on getting a biodigester for my project and was a little dismayed on hearing that, soiled toilet paper cannot be flushed.
Likes your video just realized you done this 1 year ago, I'm doing a septic tank in Bangladesh but my toilet flush will go to a different septic tank so you can use tissue etc and it won't get blocked, I kept my water flow in a different septic tank but I guess you done yours and it's all complete, how is it working for you?
sorry but you are miss informed. you can use tissue with a biodigester. Ive had a biodigester and i use tissue. it is a fantastic system whereby the fiber breaks down the feaces and dirty water is turned into clean water where you can use it to water your plants or direct it straight to the gutter. There is no smell either and you dont need to pay for emptying the biodigester as you do the septic tank. The BD is cheaper and cleaner. I think you need to do more research on this subject madam because your spreading false info. This system is becoming very popular because of the reasons i stated above. If you couldnt use tissue with this system, it wouldnt be as popular as it is.
Youve cleared my head with your comment! Thank you so much.. I was very confused on what to use at first ... but my question is, is there any other problem associated with the biodegester apart from flashing of forieng materials??
Yea, the cost of the manhole is part of the project cost. It wasn't charged separately so it would be difficult to say it's this amount or that. Stay tuned for video on project cost, maybe that would help
I think I will go with a bio-digester, it's smaller and better for the environment. I also won't have to pay to get it emptied every year.
You can use the tissue paper in a biodigester madam. It's biodegradable
The enzymes breakdown fecal matter but not tissue paper
@@davidsarpong3611the tissu paper is biodegradable miss Try to learn more about this system and hire people how are qualify for that job.
Thanks

We created holes to allow the flow of water
@@MzzK-theonlyriraqi okay, good
Mine will be at the same level with the floor and even covered with the same tiles. It will not be easily identifiable from afar.

Am a Zambian and a qualified bricklayer. If it was me I could have left it at the first level . It's smarter than what you did.

Great video
Pls how much did it cost for this man hole ?
Total cost for the labor and materials
I will choose Biodigester over traditional septic tank bcos it takes little space and last more than the traditional septic tank.
In my opinion, a septic tank and soak pit is better. That’s my opinion.

We actually created holes allow the flow of rainwater
I chose a bio digester system because it environmental friendliness and public nuisance free.
Congrats sis, well done. Please can u give me a rough estimate of the manhole? Materials together with workmanship
130 to 140 million old currency
Thanks alot

Hi sis, I hope the septic tank is easily accessible to transport the sewage. I did the biodigester all because land issues. It was a very small land.
Yes, it's easily accessible. U choose the best option for a small land

You are lucky to project the external wall of the manhole otherwise when there's rainfall rain water will fill you manhole easily
Yeah
I am interested in knowing how to make a bio digester using a septic tank.
Good evening how many iron rods did u used for the flow top of the septic tank the 12mm and 16mm

I will chose the old tradition way due to health and safety reasons
Great video friend
So bio and septic which is better
Depends on where you're building(I mean what kind of soil you're building on)
Useing manhole was good idea but you dont really need to project it up currently it even nice to level it with the compound
Nice
Please how much did it cost for workmanship
Girl I’m looking for legit land in the Accra area to buy can u help pls

How’s rain water going to get out when it rains
Rain water doesn't get in cus it's sealed, also there's a soakaway
Man hole is not the same as septic tank, please take note
