I watched Game Changer for the first time yesterday, glad I understand the reference now
it's kind of impressive seeing people expand their horizons from several people taking up redstoning to several people taking up armor stand art. hermits have definitely taken up the task of expanding their horizons on what they do on hermitcraft this season
I'm really enjoying seeing all the armour stand magic that has been going on :D
Tango and Mumbo (in particular) stretching their builder muscles, and everyone trying gradients and detailing. Is it because no-one’s trying to out-do their last mega-base build? It’s turning out to be a wonderful season all round.

I suspect having the mega base pressure off helps a bunch
Redstone is pretty easy to understand if you take it one step at a time. Basically all contraption are just a bunch of lot of a little contraptions combine.
The most simple gates to understand are the andgates and R S nor latch.
R S nor latch allows one signal to go through once but to reset it you have to trigger the other side.
And gates are infinite expandible this is a main thing used in random locks
I think Docm77’s ore snatcher has one possibility that no one has ever considered, not even Docm77 himself.
What if the ore snatcher isn’t a prank but a call out to docm77 to get acknowledgment of mastering red stone? Like someone doing this: Hey doc. I understand red stone now. Even your complicated stuff. I can even mess with it. Are you proud of that?
If that is the case Pearlscentmoon is suspect

Those Game Changer colours go so hard, they look so good! I'm loving this arc of everyone doing a bit of redstone to spice up their games this season, it's really fun to watch people figuring things out.
I'll have you know it wasn't a little bit of redstone... that was a lot of redstone, way more than anyone elses! Or it felt like it but whatever :P

I love when Hermits who aren’t redstoners show their projects to people who are, because it’s like when a kindergartner goes up to their parents with their macaroni art while saying, “Look what I did, look what I did!!! :D” It’s so pure and wholesome.

Great work with the redstone. The really seems to be the season where more people are stretching their wings and learning a lot about automation.

When you said you were gonna be inspired by it my brain was like "yeah, those loopdy-loops are gonna be hard to translate" and then... nope. Nailed it. Super easy, barely an inconvenience.
I love how excited Cleo gets showing off her redstone to Ren and Pearl. I totally get it, showing someone a massive leap in progress you have made in a new skill is one of the most rewarding experiences imo

I'd give so much to see a Hermitcraft Game Changer episode - either with Hermits on their set, or Sam hosting on the HC server. Would be genuinly an amazing crossover
With the “Riddle me this. Riddle me that. What hermit do I have in my hat?” line, you could make the outside of the game a giant top-hat to reference the start of the season!

Skizz has been trying to sleep every night as his role as Assistant to the Sleep Master. When Ren was able to sleep before Skizz could, Impulse teased him about it.
Watching Skizz and Impulse’s friendship breaking down in real time was wildly entertaining 😂
Not that I'm saying the mega bases aren't completely awesome, because they are, but I actually love this everyone-builds-smaller-and-closer-together thing the Hermits are doing this season, it's so cosy and sweet! Plus, it seems to lead to way more unplanned interactions on top of the planned ones, which is always fun.
Loving the minigame evolution, too!
I love how the episode ends by fading from the swirling yellow and red stripes on the blue building, to swirling yellow and red lights on the deep blue end screen, and that they share almost a matching pattern between the two scenes

In the Hermit guessing game the question "Is it this person" can be counted as a yes or no question, thus granting an opportunity to either get more info or guess a specific Hermit.
I can’t wait to some hermits playing with al the head options!

You can break armour stand with arrows from a despenser, if it falls into a water stream it can be lifted up to the chest using a soul sand elevator.

mumbo has always been great at compacting redstone down into smaller spaces, so maybe talk with him about how to not spaghetti the redstone
it would be so fun if you had the game changer intro music incorporated somehow, but in note block form (i bet you could pester etho into doing it :3 ) !! this is such a neat build, and i cant wait to see it all finished!

Dripstone spike would've been a good choice for Skizz because his starter base/storage is in a dripstone cave ! What a fun game !! It's interesting to see how other hermits choose to interpret each other !

I love how much overlap I have recently been seeing between hermitcraft and dropout lately
It might be cool to give the guesser a wall of copper bulbs with hermit hearts for them to keep notes on (and to cause the clue giver some amount of pain while they watch the guesser rule out the right answer).

Im impressed with Cleo's redstone. I dont know how she does it. I do not understand redstone at all. The extent of my RS knowledge is a pressure plate in front of a door. I once made a sheep farm with observers but had to follow a tutorial. Im always impressed when people who dont do redstone pick it up so quick. Well done Cleo. Pearl also impressed me with her redstone.
Cleo doing red stone reminds me of how I do it, can I follow a tutorial and get it done? Sure. Am I going to remember it for the next time? No, never and then I’ll just give up
