This is a genuine live performance. He sang this live in front of a live band. He keeps you mesmerized with no background dancers, no stage antics, no stage lights synced up to the dynamics of the music; just a soulful crooner with total command of his vocal cords. At the end when he smiles and bites his lip, he knows that he's taking everyone in that audience for a ride and that all of us wish that it wasn't over.

Though not biological brothers this was a LIVE solo performance by just one of the duo (Bobby Hatfield) being performed on The Andy Williams TV show. My favorite song from the '60's is by the same group called "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" in which both "brothers" sing...and just by coincidence "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" was the MOST played song on American radio and Tv in the 20th century with over 8 Million plays!!

Live national TV broadcast (Andy Williams Show) so he not only had the full studio audience, he had nationwide crowd with eyes on him. Stellar, one for the history books.

Thanks for allowing us to appreciate your reactions without interruptions (as so many reaction videos do, and ruin the mood of the song). The lyrics about time going slowly for the man in prison and is expressing his anxiety that time has changed his wife's love for him and that it might have has faded, which is why the next line is "are you still mine." It is also why "lonely rivers sigh, wait for me wait for me."
The Righteous Brothers were a duet and not brothers and this song was done as a solo.

I've heard people say the exact same thing every decade from the 80s on. It's just that when listening to older hits you are getting the best of that time there was garbage music and good music every decade and it will keep going for as long as there is music.

He is the younger of the two brothers. The older deep voiced one was not present during this. The older brother leads the song, "You've lost that loving feeling!" If you like family oriented songs I recommend, "Family Man" by Andrew Peterson. As a family man myself, I really could identify with the song; although, it might not be a radio song.

It was featured in the movie, "Ghost". Bobby had severe stage fright which had to have been worse as his parents were there during this Andy Williams show performance. Bobby had a *four octave range* . What you seeing her is complete CONTROL in his singing. He didn't have to *strain* his high notes. No strain or look like he's even trying. Bobby is 25 in this performance live on the
Andy Williams show. Why no clapping or vocalizations during the song? In these shows (check out The Animals on the Ed Sullivan show) they politely ask the audience to *not* do this. Ever really want to hear a performance and you just really wish the audience would just shut up! I think that last sweet smile where he bites his lower lip meant he knew that he damn *KILLED IT* .
Also Bobby is so damn fine! That outfit is just pure swank without being gaudy. Diamond pinkie ring without being outrageously gaudy big.
Their song "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" holds the record as most song plays ever on the radio. If you REALLY want to listen to a true blue eyed soul listen to "I Just Want to Make Love With You".
The ladies listen and get blushed.
