Not sure if I ever told you about the Top Tuning 24 mm hex adapters. Highly recommend those. 21$ a pair and the axle nuts from the 5ive T work with them. They don't come with axle nuts but come with the hex itself and the 24 mm axle pin. Also recommend the Vitavon front shock tower. The shock tower is a little pricey at around $200 but is a huge improvement over stock.
Oh yeah! When these cheap adapters fail on me I'll get those adapters. Same with the vitavon part....maybe lol 200 is alot
@@heavymetalrc7520 I'm not sure if you have ever broke a shock tower yet. I have 3 times and that's what made me get the Vitavon shock tower. Gives it better control for 1, doesn't flex for 2, and doesn't break for 3. I can say for sure if you can get over the $200 initial fee, you will be very happy with it. The plastic shock towers always break right around the bolts and your night be broken or cracked as you read this. Really if I include the shock towers that were cracked and include broken shock towers together, I've purchased 6 stock plastic kits all together. The Top Tuning 24 hexs are from Germany and are very good quality for $21. (Prices may have changed since I bought mine) Just a few things to consider when you question whether the Vitavon shock tower is worth it. Next to the servo, I would consider the shock tower the best purchase I made for the SRR.
I've never had that break...yet lol. But this srr is my baby so if it does I will definitely be buying her some vitavon. I just bought the vitavon rear upper links for her. That should be an awesome upgrade too.
Love this rig but the pain in the ass factor has me on the fence about buying one…………. chassis accessibility. Too many screws to get the body off…… still super cool though. I run those tires on my DBXL 2…..

How do you have the drag brake hooked up to the controller?
Use the accessory wire on the castle esc. Use a channel on the remote that activates the accessory wire.
So I just gotta plug that accessory wire into a channel? Do I have to program anything to use it on the esc
