You make it look very easy..!! I assume if you fall off in the middle of a pond/sea there is no way to get going again and you're swimming back to shore to start again..? 🤔

😅 yes that it! there is no way to start in the water like that. At the beginning it’s safer to remain close to the shore. With the experience the mistakes don’t happen that often 👍

Hello, thank you for the video! What recomendation you have in regarding 'not burning the back leg' ? you mention this a lot.
Now with my axis 1401 and skinny stab, i can do 2 minutes, breath / pulse is okay, but i start again to feel the back leg burning.
Some mast position change / shimming of stab maybe ? thank you for the content

      Hi! Thanks :)
You can try to reduce your stance by moving your front foot closer to your back foot so that you can use more your front foot during the squats. Using your both legs almost equally is the key. Do the squats as little as possible, don’t go too deep on your legs. The toes are pointing slightly towards the outside, so back foot toes not in the riding direction.
At each squat use as little energy as possible.
Currently I’m using a bigger stab, Veloce H 47cm and no shimming.
Tell me if it helps ;)

@@Ludo_freefoiler thanks for the answer. Which Foil size would you recommend for 75kg?

@@matija3791 what’s your experience with pump foiling? If you have some the Sirus xl will be fine. If you want to begin I would recommend a beginner frontwing low aspect ratio. It will be much more easier at the beginning

@@Ludo_freefoiler I did not pump foil yet, but I am thinking in starting. At the moment I am wingfoiling (27 sessions until now) and doing some pumping together with Wing of course. I have a low aspect 1900mm2 Neil Pryde Glide HP front wing. Do you think that I may use this for beginner pump foiling still?

@@matija3791 yes, it might work, give it a try! If it doesn’t work, these are still bigger easier Frontwings on the market 👍

13 km/h, what's the stall speed on that Sirus? On my Axis foils that's right at the stall speed for me

What’s the size of your Axis foil?
A bit less than 12km/h I would said, I will check how much I can reduce my speed

Incredible video mate! Thank you very much. Can you pease add one more screenshot in the comments ? You posted your intervals distribution of your heart rate over 5 zones. If you post your splits section and make sure to scroll out to the right to capture the power output for each split.. that would be of enormous help.
Also what is your age and weight?
Also I don’t believe you could spend most of your 5 mins in zone 5. Most likely your max HR rate is much higher than your apple watch is thinking. Based on your “computed” max HR apple watch computed your zones.. i think based on what I saw, you stayed in zone 3 all the time. As you could still talk to the microphone. In zone 4 or 5 , nobody can talk.
Anyway, amazing video and you have great skills. You are blessed wirh youth and high max heart rate, so you can sustain 165 - 170 bpm.
For me 165 is my max heart rate, and its not safe to be anywhere near it. My sustained HR for zone 3 is about 140-145 bpm. So I need a foil that would allow me to stay in that zone to pump over 1 - 2 mins.
This is very interesting area of research you can dive into and make another good video about it.

Thank you for your message! Until now I was not really looking at the heat rate but this is interesting to understand how long one can pump. I’m going to check the parameters of my watch because as you said always in the zone 5 to be and feeling ok doesn’t seem realistic. I will keep investigating the heart rate and keep you posted.
The first time I did 15min a couple of weeks ago, I was done at the end. Now it feels pretty easy. This is not because my heart can sustain a higher bpm but because I am more efficient in my pumps and controlling the heart rate: relax/save energy. I will look if becoming more and more efficient I can keep the heart rate in the zone 3 for a longer time.
      I am 34 for 62kg.

Unfortunately I don’t see more information about the splits I posted (mark 05:12 in my video)… time/speed and heart rate but no power output
