Pump foiling is amazing! I started this new awesome activity in June 2022.
Pumping for a couple of seconds was already an incredible feeling that made it not just a workout for Wingfoil/Surffoil but a great activity on its own.
Two years later I’m capable of things that I thought I would NEVER be able to achieve. My last personal record is pumping for 30min 6,6km long in only one ride after beachstarting… Starting anywhere is not a problem anymore, there are always possibilities. Freestyle tricks like the Superman one are making pump foiling every week more incredible. There are limitless possibilities.
Wherever I pump people are amazed seeing it. Sharing my passion, inspiring foilers, encouraging beginners, giving tips, pushing myself, keeping great souvenirs are the main purposes of my videos :)

Running Dock start: the easiest way to get started pumping.
How to make it work consistently?
Start decomposed in 3 phases:
- Running phase on Dock
- Transition / Jumping phase
- Pumping phase
Tips for each phase…
Running phase: Free your mind, make it as easy as possible!
- Know how many steps you want to go for: for me three are perfect
- Know what and where will be your last foot on the dock
- Go reverse, know where to start
Transition/Jumping phase: Gliding exercise first!
- Jump forward as far as possible to conserve speed
- Keep control of your foil, be stable
- Keep board parallel to water
- Start with a gliding exercise: jump on board and glide as far/long as you can without pumping
Pumping phase: Start climbing!
- push down quickly on your back foot to connect with your foil
- Extend your body upwards to be as light as possible
- let your knees go up

Only 62kg, I tested the Sirus 3XL 186cm 2400cm2 for three different activities: Pump Foiling (long distance), Sup Foiling (paddle up) and Wing Foiling (light wind).
