Well, I love this message. Colour is part of life. If we have a gift of seeing colours, why make everything pale and even? I have also noticed this trend of changed company logos (especially, international ones) and, honestly, they evoke no emotion or even add to the gloom during the fall.

In this case ..I think My Home country(India)still has it's vibrant and beautiful colors existing whether you see cities or festivals to clothes ...even trucks in India have unbeatable artworks on them...AND I THINK COLORFUL WORLD WILL BE ALWAYS A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE RATHER THAN B&W
I just visited India last year after 3 years or so, and this definitely isn't true. Many of the villages I went to preserved their colors, but cities didn't. It's much more black and white in India and I think you get a better perspective when you don't see the country for a while. And another reason for this is the slow development in India, which isn't necessarily good considering that better infrastructure and transportation would benefit India much more than preserving colors. In this case, its better to replace the old with the new.
Still some developed regions here have changed which is just because we changed. We would like bright popping colours but with houses something like looking at bright pink or blue just looks as if a five yo painted it. Definitely, the reduction of colors in society has to do with an economic factor. However, the underlying reason is due to a conscious goal of people and organizations in positions of power to create a more homogenized global society lacking autonomous critical thinking, which makes it more easily manipulated. Everyone would then have the same tastes, they would dress the same, they would eat the same, they would want the same, they would reject and approve the same, and they would be more predictable in their behavior. In fact, many people feel more comfortable when someone else tells them what to do with their lives because they don't know or are afraid to make their own decisions. The other factor is the mood, as the video mentions, fewer colors, less dopamine, therefore, a more monotonous, depressive, and unstable society, which makes less thoughtful decisions, which makes them perfect consumers. I recommend reading George Orwell's 1984.
Um I don't think there is a direct relationship to color and manipulation of society but I see your point. But you definitely went off track there in your last 2 sentences, and to be honest I kinda like less colors. Its much easier to take in but it gets kinda repetitive which is a downside.

Though I agree with the standpoint of this video, just know that it doesn't apply to all situations; for example, I like the Nordic/modern/minimalist aesthetic of homes, but love bright colored cars (red/purple/blue/yellow), because it looks best that way imo. Certain colorful aesthetics on restaurants or homes are actually kinda jarring and unpleasant to look at as the colors are not well put together. So yeah, my point is, color combinations matter ALOT, no matter if it's bright or plain. You can't just throw random bright colors together and say that it makes you happy or pleased.
That could be a culture phenomenon though. How you are trained to see things. We have Hispanic neighbors who think painting their house multiple bright colors is beautiful while other neighbors who think desert tan only is beautiful. It's a matter of perspective.
As a person that is currently wearing a black and white shirt, I can confirm this video is so accurate. Actually, I haven't ever noticed this change, but this video made me fall in the truth. I agree that the world should be more colorful.

Interesting observation! And just as I am reading this, I am in the midst of changing my entire house by de-coloring the walls of each room to white and will re-do my kitchen to be white and gray? It is easier to make other changes such as adding to a list of colors of mats, rugs, furniture and curtains that will match better against the neutral colors.
It’s true, the world is losing color but we all never noticed. This video will hopefully make people recognize that and hopefully make the world more vibrant again. We evolved from black and white to colored cameras but slowly losing the Interest of using abstract colors. The world should be colorful and beautiful in my opinion. More people should know about this… To make everyone happier! Great video as always, hopefully more people will change the world for the better or worse.

I'm an artist (sketching, painting, photoshop, any art you can probably imagine) and singer, I know I usually like black and white, in fact all colors, but mostly these two, because they compliment any color, and the reason I use dark mode most of the time, is because, it's comfortable and takes lesser memory and charge devices. I like to use these colors in sketches as well, if I am a bit lazy to color, but I do have a fondness for some of the colours contained within the colour spectrum. For logos, I think nowadays it's best to use black and white, so they can match any color of their products or merchandise. I think vehicles are using more neutral colors because they wanna keep a low profile, and maybe fit the neofuturistic trends of the 21st century. I've noticed that colourful things aren't permanent in my life, unlike my laptop, mobile, TV, watch, etc. (This doesn't apply to everything and everyone) I have to admit that I love fruits, they are colorful. As a visual artist, I am able to tell the best clothing (usually black or white, if they aren't aware of the event's colour theme) someone who doesn't have a fashion sense. Colors help ne to distinguish shades in photoshop and while editing videos, chroma key, color correction, these play a vital role. It's so astonishing that we started with black and white filmography and photography and we're ending up with 21st century, fully monochrome themed lifestyle. I think both need to coexist, so that we can differentiate between the various things in life.
This is so educating. School uniforms were used to be in different colors like blue, pink, green, red etc but now the only color even used on most uniforms is grey white and black. That also creates confusion in different school uniforms.
I love your videos Nas, by any chance do you travel to different countries for your videos? If so your really kind to do this for us. These colors are fading! i hope people understand the world is colorful & kind not boring, 🌸
In my opinion, we're not losing colors. It's just shifted from physical pigment based to lights (RGB). The reason is simply because it's more customizable and dynamic. And this making the situations the colors being used also shifted from bright daylight to more darker situation. We can see the trends with big cities like Tokyo, Hongkong, New York, Las Vegas, Dubai, etc. And in the smaller scales like interior space or a desktop computers. I guess we might see future generations using RGB lights on their clothes.
I do not really care honestly... Because my town has so much colors and is really vibrant! You see green, blue, and purple houses! Colored cars everywhere. People with colored clothing and some old logos still exist! So they still have color. For me, color is not leaving.
Although the world is losing color, I think the Pennsylvania Turnpike is one of the few places in the world that is trending up in colors. For instance, if you look at the old service plazas, they are plane stone houses with beige and grey. But, the newer service plazas, they have blues, greens, yellows, maroons, and many vibrant colors.
I get where the video is reaching for, but colors aren’t going anywhere. Brands may be simplifying, but just because a skyscraper isn’t painted yellow doesn’t mean the world will lose yellow things. The examples of the red and blue cites are also extreme considering they are single-palette cities, which is the same as all black/white. People today more than ever match colors with their clothing and accessories. Even brands that have simplified are subject to change. Life is always changing. Colors are not really going anywhere.
Hey! Who ever sees this…Switch your mentality from "I'm lazy and helpless" to "I'm growing and healing" and watch how your life changes for the better. 💪🏽🔥
We had planned to make our kitchen in grey and white combo but eventually we had to go with the red and white color for some reason everytime we used to regret for this.. But now after watching this video.. I feel that was not a wrong decision 🙂
Okay Nas Daily Has a Point l actually Never realized that the world was losing colors😬 Back in days lots of Those restaurants and lots of other things. It caused the colors to fade away so l agree 👍 and l thought why it was fading probably because Colors are basic they don't want to much. And people have lost Joy in colors!! they Shouldn't do this because Colors bring Joy to the World 🌍✨
And I personally think it's also because nowadays so many people think that wearing colors like black or gray is cool.....infact many people on social media brag about this saying things like 'blacklover' in their bio and everywhere. I mean don't take it in a wrong way, I too like black color but being so much biased towards black color, I don't think it's a good thing. I personally like all the colors, and when someone asked me what's my favourite color, I just say 'the color of the rainbow', it makes me so happy. 🙂🌈
“The world is losing color!” Me: Not all color- México: I HAVE PINK GREEN YELLOW BLUE and sometimes PURPLE OR EVEN RED AND ORANGE!!!! NasDaily: ain’t givin any shoutout to you
This story also resonates with my experience in Sweden. I started to it call the culture of pale. It seems that everything is made pale with purpose to blend in as much as possible with a few exceptions there. From minimalism outdoors to interiors indoors. Add the lack of sunlight for 6 or more months and it gets depressing.
I remember seeing some sci fi movie potraying a futuristic scene several years ago and seeing everything in greyish shades and thinking ' yuck... no variety in clothing. Na.. why did they potray it like that' . Now i see how accurate it is
I appreciate this short but meaningful lesson but I want to add too that maybe we choose plain color for things like houses and dresses cos it's more neat, not easy to get dirty, easy to wash, will stand the test of time and also minimal. Thats all. Live this vid anyways so full of content
Agreed, I’ve heard about it before. This is sad… just imagine if we had colours all around the world, how much would that benefit the photographers (cuz I am one) I hope the world regains the beauty of colours.

Good thing we here...still have a lot of colors in uniforms.
Enough to make uniforms of certain schools iconic.
true
But my color of my uniform is purple?

Yes it's is a phase
In my opinion, we're not losing colors. It's just shifted from physical pigment based to lights (RGB). The reason is simply because it's more customizable and dynamic. And this making the situations the colors being used also shifted from bright daylight to more darker situation.
We can see the trends with big cities like Tokyo, Hongkong, New York, Las Vegas, Dubai, etc. And in the smaller scales like interior space or a desktop computers. I guess we might see future generations using RGB lights on their clothes.
yes

Colors are not really going anywhere.
if u look at it that way ur actually very correct

We had planned to make our kitchen in grey and white combo but eventually we had to go with the red and white color for some reason everytime we used to regret for this.. But now after watching this video.. I feel that was not a wrong decision 🙂
My kitchen is black white AND RED 🙂
Okay Nas Daily Has a Point l actually Never realized that the world was losing colors😬 Back in days lots of Those restaurants and lots of other things. It caused the colors to fade away so l agree 👍 and l thought why it was fading probably because Colors are basic they don't want to much. And people have lost Joy in colors!! they Shouldn't do this because Colors bring Joy to the World 🌍✨
1:44 Microsoft gained color

Which is more colourful?!
“Switzerland painted there prisons pink.” I feel oddly represented
And I personally think it's also because nowadays so many people think that wearing colors like black or gray is cool.....infact many people on social media brag about this saying things like 'blacklover' in their bio and everywhere. I mean don't take it in a wrong way, I too like black color but being so much biased towards black color, I don't think it's a good thing. I personally like all the colors, and when someone asked me what's my favourite color, I just say 'the color of the rainbow', it makes me so happy. 🙂🌈
I agree with you, I thought that I was the only one who think like this. Everyone should love each n every color

The world is just going through a little emo phase that’s all.
This is the right explanation

I remember seeing some sci fi movie potraying a futuristic scene several years ago and seeing everything in greyish shades and thinking ' yuck... no variety in clothing. Na.. why did they potray it like that' .
Now i see how accurate it is
There’s still plenty of clothing variety
The giver?
I appreciate this short but meaningful lesson but I want to add too that maybe we choose plain color for things like houses and dresses cos it's more neat, not easy to get dirty, easy to wash, will stand the test of time and also minimal. Thats all. Live this vid anyways so full of content
To be honest it’s kinda awesome that we are going back in the Black n White times
Agreed, I’ve heard about it before. This is sad… just imagine if we had colours all around the world, how much would that benefit the photographers (cuz I am one) I hope the world regains the beauty of colours.
