Took 45 hours not including 2 friends who helped with handsewn details. Fabric and supplies cost $500-$600. If I was paid $20 an hour it would cost at least $900 labor, not including overhead for sewing machine server etc. This is why custom stuff is expensive.

Actually, it is a dremel like tool used to burn electrical wires together. It can also be used to burn through metal and plastic... and apparently fabric!!
