Stef always did have a chip on his shoulder with Chino I think it all flared up after Around the fur. Chino seemed to be into some of the more melodic shit, and Stef is all about the metal. Still they seem to get it together and realease some seriously good music with an amazing balance on each record!
I'm amazed at how these guys have patience for all the media attention all the time. It must get to you at some stage when you get asked the same boring ass questions over and over. Kills the creative spirit as well. Though I still enjoy their music, and it continues to evolve, I enjoyed their older stuff. I could be wrong though...often times their new stuff is an acquired taste, but so far only Kimdracula and Rats stand out.

Man thats good news! If he is out of the ICU then he is awake...but since he was in a coma for so long its gonna be a hard battle to get him walking and get his muscles working again. Keep Chi and his family in your prayers guys.

I gotta admit, Deftones always seem tense when they're all together. In my band, any time we're in situations like this we can't stop joking with each other, monkeying around, having fun, however these guys always seem like they just got done arguing. It's weird... Fucking
Stephen was really pissed off at the fans attitude. Not used that kind of hysterical attitude latin countries have obviously. Chi'is trying to even things out...
