The only full master set I want is Surging Sparks since that's what brought me into the hobby. After that I'm hunting for all Vulpix and Ninetales. I don't have the bank roll to master set everything. 😅
Specific Trainer/Pokemon/Artist Collections with a multitude of different things from languages/variants are just more fun than the standard master set tbh
I definitely agree with you here. Worrying about master sets adds an extra level of stress to something that's supposed to be fun. While ending up with stuff you don't really care about. While I do understand that extra feeling of accomplishment when it's finished, it just doesn't last IMO. I've found collecting has been more enjoyable when selecting something more specific. Like a Pokémon, like you mentioned, or even an artist. There's a lot of things that you can do to make your collection more meaningful to you!
@@thesleepinggloom2603 Great comment! Great point that the sense of accomplishment doesn’t last and I love the idea of collecting a certain artist! That’s something I should have mentioned! Thanks for watching!

I find it much more enjoyable to complete smaller speciofic sets you find fun like a specific pokemon or galleries...etc
