Offside is super easy to understand. You just yell at youth club soccer refs that they're full of shit four nights a week for about 15 months. Then one day the clouds part and you realize, "Ohhhh... That's what it means... Yeah, no... That was definitely offside." The best part is figuring it out six months before your wife does and getting to say to her repeatedly, "That was absolutely offside. That AR is a 14 year old child. How dare you speak to her like that?"
Nail on the head Adam - this show is about heart and relationships only on a footie setting. One of the most wholesome shows ever to have swearing. I thought a tim tam slam was with vodka....?

first concert was kid cudi, best concert (more of a festival) was Coachella when Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre performed, they brought out Eminem and 50 cent and then revealed the Tupac hologram, will never forget that night.
Another banger...I think you will really love this as it goes on now that the characters have been established. This show has some of my all time favourite television scenes.
As a Brit (therefore an avid tea enthusiast), I find Ted's disdain of tea to be his only major character flaw 😂 First concert was probably some crummy local welsh bands... but my best is definitely seeing the metal band Trivium in Bristol, UK. It was all the way back in 2011, but was definitely the most energetic & exhausted I've ever been at a concert. As in nearly passing out from pure dehydration & exhaustion but being happy about it also 🤣 Loving the Ted Lasso reactions dude! Very under-represented show IMO on the "TH-cam reaction scene", if you will. 👍
@RyanCoger Yes!! Trivium is amazing live! I saw them in Anaheim, California this past year when they opened for my favorite band Iron Maiden and that was absolutely the best concert I’ve ever been to. Metal is life 🤘🏽

Re: sports TV shows, strong recommend for Friday Night Lights, now that show will make you cry and yet give you some of the most uplifting moments ever as well. First concert - Robbie Williams at the cake tin in Wellington. Best concert - Mumford & Sons at Wgtn Town Hall, a small venue (now earthquake condemned) with such good acoustics that they played a few songs unplugged which was next level awesome. (Very close runner up - Bon Jovi, I'd waited a long time to see them live and did not disappoint.)

This made me love football again. well, this version of it. I still despise and boycott fifa and all that fuckery but hell...made me remember the good times when I was 15 and got the whole 'fit and learned every player's name and bio and national anthems and it was just so much fun. Great thing about this show is: you don't even have to love football, in fact, you can DESPISE football and still love the show. the writing, the feelings, the character arches...just so damn good! I'm a bit older so first concert: Boston with Arrowsmith opening and best concert: Billy Joel, hands down!! Such a great "Entertainer"! Its such a great show and you will have tears at some point. Gotta happen!

Tea is definitely good, despite Ted's opinion. One minor point: Ted's accent is not Southern - it is a Midwestern Twang - faster speech rate and shorter vowels. It's a little things and even Americans living on the coasts don't notice the difference, but for those of us living in the heartland, it is pretty clear. Keep it up! Your take is great.
