Listen,I'm watching from Wales, united kingdom, let me tell you this guy here is absolutely fantastic, I'm from the country and country folk do things differently to city folk, it's nice to see a genuine, honest geezer, rather than stardom seeking, money obsessed idiots, more videos please Jeff and thank you
I'm watching this again two years later and really what you said, said it. Hell yeah, Jeff and Hannah are genuine great people eh. Gotta love the work they put in day to day and then the work they put in on their videos.
You have a real nice channel here young man ! I enjoy the honesty you display . You and Hannah both are a pleasure to watch. These people who are too sensitive to view butchering would starve in a matter of days or grab a knife and figure it out. Glad I’m not like them .
That time is approaching us quickly. Small farmers have been warning us for months. They're all being shut down. Seems to be a large shut down on soy purchases across the industry. Something big is happening. There's a reason they teach us about Hitler but not Stalin. It seems to be happening again. The food supply is under attack. Grow it yourselves, hunt it, raise it, save it. The sensitive people will be asking for handouts very soon.
I'm so glad i grew up in the country and know where my food comes from and what it takes to get it to the table. The crap you buy at the stores these days has no flavor. My grandma used to keep track of which chickens produced and which ones didnt. if they didn't contribute they was dinner :)
And when the apocalypse happens all of the people that didnt want to learn how to hunt and process their own meat and can vegetables are going to either die or seek out someone like Jeff to keep them alive. you will find me in the mountains of Oregon with a smile and a smoker.
Jeff I probably going to get a lot of hat for saying this but you don't ever have to say sorry in a veido because I love watching and learning from everything you guys on your channel you barron's are amazing people love your videos and keep posting them please god bless and stay safe have a great week
Thanks Jeff I continue to stand in awe when I see how passionate you are throughout the whole preparation process of all the food you catch and cook “Ka Rawe” we say in New Zealand
I have three children they're all grown I have a boy and two girls It's always fun Watching a Daddy during interactions with his adult children.Jeff you and Hannah are so close Y'all can talk to each other and not say a word I love these videos
Hi Hanna I miss your videos but am back again with your dad love what y'all do keep up the good job and looking forward for more God bless preciate y'all
Thank you soooo much Jeff I watched & listen very closely every step of the way & I just loved watching every second of it all. Much love & respect to you and your family always.
Excellent job of harvesting the wild hog meat, & making fresh breakfast sausage to enjoy thru the winter months. Great seeing Hannah, and her little companion for a taste test . Cooking up the fresh sausage while your making it is the best way to make sure it will taste great later. Love you guys, be safe, stay healthy, God Bless everyone.
Damn fine content, damn fine eating!!! I love me some wild hog sausage! Growing up we processed all our own barn lot raised meat. Hogs, belly bacon, backstrap tenderloins, cured hams 4 ways, chops, steaks, sausage. Since moving to Florida I'm more into the wild hog steaks and everything else into sausage. I prefer it above domestic hog, and have even had those say they don't like wild hog think it was great after they ate it unknowingly.
If it cuts, MUST be a knife!! We think EXACTLY alike as that’s what I would call it as well! Great job Jeff, love your videos as you spend time to EXPLAIN what your doing!!!!
Great video Jeff! Love it when you and Hannah get together. You guys remind me of my daughter and I . Merle is the cutest, needs more face time on the channel.
Thank you brother for sharing your sausage procedure, I've been wanting to make sausage but had not found a mix I like, so I bought some of the mix you showed, and it is amazing, thank you for sharing this my friends, Jeff you and Hannah are a pleasure to watch, we appreciate you. 🤠🙏💖
Really enjoy all your videos both Jeff and Hannah. That sausage looks great. Wish I lived close enough to come talk you out of a bunch of it. Hope you and your family are having a great day! Preciate yall!🦌
Jeff I just love it when you talk about cooking it up you get so excited about it lol but you got to stop the teasing looks so good but cant smell or taste it make us all drool just watching
Whoo yes sir ree ,some Grand biscuits and strawberry preserves and hot Costa Rica coffee with that sausage and you know your talking to a Tennessee wild man. That's a fine video and Thanks for sharing . Nice grinder to that's a nice addition to the sportsman kitchen.
Hey Jeff and Hannah, another trick I’ve learned with my vacuum sealer is to moisten the soft padded gasket seal on the inside of the sealer top and bottom. Wet your finger or wash cloth and dampen the whole thing it makes better contact for a better seal.
Hey Jeff here’s a tip if you want to take a couple extra minutes when you skin the hogs or deer is remove the shank at the elbow and you will never poke a hole in your bags.
Thanks for posting. It is great your outdoor kitchen works for making sausage. Everything is cold. Including the pork and fat going through the cold grinder. Nice.
Whoop! First thing that popped up this evening. My country ass had no chance! CLICK!!!! Give it enough sage, Jeff. You can make it hot. I like that too. Evidently, too many people are FAR too sensitive. I watched my great uncles butcher hogs back in the 1970's. I learned at a young age where the meal comes from. And it's takes some work to get from the hog to the table! My great aunt would sit at the bench table with a chisel in her left hand and a hammer in her right, waiting for the hog heads to come to her. She was gettin' those hog brains!
Yes, this is great stuff, I have learned a lot! I spend a couple months at a time across the country away from home. I been watching and applying what I have gotten from here during my leaisure time, when I get back to my home!!!
Awesome episode I’ve been wanting to see the sausage making instead of reading it gives you way more information. It was hard watching Hannah burn her mouth, but then I watched her land a huge sturgeon.. 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸❤
This is wonderful. My wife and I watch all of your videos. Noodling, nope, Not happening for this guy! Sausage looked wonderful. I just tried making bacon on my new camp chef smoker. Better than I thought it would be. Thanks again for sharing! Cold, nope, we are in Alaska! Moose, Caribou, and salmon galore!! ciao
Hey, Jeff: Great video!!!! You explained it all so well! I noticed who showed up, when the food is ready. Throw one of those nice patties on a big bun, cheese, and a little De Jon Mustered, oh my gosh!!
Best video yet I think.....using the sink for a mixin bowl.....all it needed was that fast motion music in there somewhere!.........Anyway......look like some awesome sausage!
Was always my favorite part, doing hogs as a kid. Cooking up samples on the old antique combo wood and gas stove we had in the basement. That and the old cast iron pan always left perfect crispy edges on the patties and just seemed to cook the sausage perfectly. Always seasoned with salt and pepper for sure but also a lot of mustard seed for sure. May have been some other seasonings, just don't remember.
Unfortunately, sensitive people are taking over the world. True outdoors man like us are a dying breed. Glad you raised Hannah right. Love watching you two.
Good stuff, when I lived on the farm we would butcher our own hog, put some aside for sausage then chill the meat and process it into chops, ribs, pork loin and then smoke a ham. Damn it was good stuff and typically fed a family of 5 all winter. I don’t miss the butchering, scalding and scraping the hide of hair, but I miss the homemade sausage, the prep with family in the kitchen…good times you never forget.
God put those animals on this earth to be used by man . As far as I'm concerned y'all are just doing God's will . I appreciate y'all and God has blessed y'all . Thank you for the videos .
It’s not sensitivity, it’s because they don’t want people to learn these skills! Y’all are great 👍 keep it up. Write a book about processing and publish! You tube can’t take that from you or us. 😎
My grandparents raised and processed hogs when I was a child and that was the best sausage I ever had. Really wish I would have paid more attention to what seasoning they used.
The outdoor kitchen looks perfect for what you do Jeff. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us. I like the knife too, looks super sharp...wondering where you got it, if you don't mind letting us know where you got it. Preciate Y'all!
That is a victorinox , use to be forshner , the one he has is call a skining knive , you can fined them on web or kitchen supply store , not sure i think is a 6 inch , for cutting you love a 6 icnch flex love those knives , mine are about 25, 30 years old , they last a while when take care of thm , yall take care , good jog jeff , .
When vacuum sealing boney pieces of meat, try folding part of a bag over the bone to give a couple of extra layers of plastic to keep from puncturing the bag.
That old plantation seasoning is good too we did 30lbs this winter we ground from some pork butts. We like ours at least as hot as Tenn . pride . Good video !
Better than any Sausage you'll buy at a store. And for the sensitive people go eat a salad. Y'all take care and have a blessed week.
Mr. Shumate, I couldn’t agree more Sir. Mr. Barron, Love your videos! Y’all have a blessed weekend. ☺️
Totally agree with you 100%. They should really go eat salad or better yet go become a vegan.
Its organic

Yeah I agree but he's a different girl than in the pictures.
I'm watching this again two years later and really what you said, said it. Hell yeah, Jeff and Hannah are genuine great people eh. Gotta love the work they put in day to day and then the work they put in on their videos.
This is the best demonstration of why the 'outdoor kitchen' is a great idea. Home made sausage. Sign me up!! Enjoyed the video.
You're the dad we all need but no one deserves. Jeff Barron, you are a national treasure. Keep it up!
“People are too sensitive!” Understatement of the decade!

Your comment offends me. Haha. 😬😬

Hey Jeff. Little tip from lifelong butcher. I’ve made thousands lbs sg. Mix the spices with a little water first. Distributed better and easier.
