Enjoying the channel. I have questions i can't get answered before I start transport. Has to do with the parts that have fallen off my truck and that one state on the west coast.
Slider fifth wheel with short beds. Anderson hitch is a different animal. You can run a gas engine with some rv transportation companies. Been doing this for about 2 years and i go everywhere and i’ve never had to put it in 4 wheel drive on the road. Running an F 350 same fifth wheel as you except i have the slick plate welded on mine so I don’t have to grease. Blue Ox Sway Pro weight distribution hitch. Been driving for Synergy. Enjoy your channel. Nice to learn from you how Horizon does it. Think Synergy has the least equipment requirement up front but continually adding more stuff as i experience requires it. Be sure to carry extra food and water in case of breakdown.
Always have a bag of jerky, trail mix, water and Gatorade. Cycle it out about once a week. Yes slider and Anderson are different. That was my bad. I thought I made mention of that to correct it after I uploaded. Maybe not.
Enjoying your channel though. Friend that has been interested in getting into it told me about it. So started from the beginning and watching till i get caught up. Wish i could have gone 450 for turning radius but when i was leasing on they wouldn’t accept a 450 for single haul.
This video has a lot of good information, but, as someone who just stumbled in here, I am a bit lost. What are you haulng, "this is required", "Horizons requires", etc what is the "it" that you're talking about? Seems like you're haulng RVs for money or something? Sorry if I missed something obvious. Thanks!
I'd put your triangles in an easier location to get to. That's a dot requirement and if you get an inspection, I don't know if you guys get many of those, the officer will want to see them along with a spare paper logbook and directions for your electronic logs. I'm sure you're aware of these but the easier you can get to these things the better things go during inspections. Be safe
I think you forgot to say a requirement of Verizon is to have full mud flaps/rock guards, and it may be a requirement to have a distribution hitch, but I don’t think you really need that with a F-450 “Just Saying”. Nice Freakin Truck, Good Luck, I subscribed hope you can make some TH-cam money!
13:07: also goes for 2020 and newer GM trucks and all 4th and 5th Gen RAM trucks.
Where did you get the aux tank toolbox combo and brand? Part number would be even better.
RDS 72774
Great video. I drove semi for several years. I’m seriously thinking about getting into this line of work.
I’ve seen a few people jump from semi to transport. It’s got its pros and cons for sure.
I thinking about doing this while I'm waiting for my new trailer to be built. BTW, I like the channel. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the helpful video!
Great information Casey!

I love your truck
Thank you

Would a 3/4 ton gasser work?
Yep, done a couple videos on it
How much would be good number money wise to start with?
Bryan Jase roughly $3,000 as “throw away” money would make a comfortable start
@@fairwindsfollowingseas7909 When I start doing this is it W2 or 1099?
1099
Can I ask you what made you buy a platinum trim truck for this kind of work?
Massaging seat. My spine was pretty jacked up from the military
They told me no Anderson hitches but I think you meant sliding 5th wheel hitch for short bed
Eugene Jensen maybe it was no Anderson. I very well may be mistaken.
will company's let u us their vehicles
Great video my guy Q--- do you need dot physical and all that gos with it? Or do you not need one with rv transport
Yes you need one
