WOW! VERY Excellent video Evans! That was conductor Scott and engineer Keith! I thought the CAROLINA &PIEDMONT locomotives went around there train in MAULDIN. As the industrial park where the PI-LO is located is in MAULDIN. And where the train crosses into the GE plant the one side is considered MAULDIN while once they cross Woodruff rd. It's considered Greenville. You may be right.
Yes, Bi-Lo is Forrester Drive in Mauldin City Limits, but Greenville address. On out Forrester from there going north, Greenville City Limits is the left side of the road, Mauldin City Limits is on the right. Mauldin City Limits ends at Woodruff Rd @ Miller, and Greenville City Limits on the other side at Lowes. However, all that area has Greenville Post Office addresses. Also, National Cement is in Mauldin, but it has a Simpsonville address. Only about 40% of Mauldin gets mail from Mauldin PO. Rest get Greenville or Simpsonville mail. Side note, I was born a few blocks from the Depot in Laurens many moons ago. Grew up just off Murray Dr in Mauldin and back there in my old age. ;)
I miss the red paint! 😢😢
As do I. But Rail America dosent own these locomotives any longer.
